How is it whinging if you point out what is in labours own 2019 manifesto? Didn't you want anyone to read it? Perhaps you can say chap, as labour seem to be basing no tax increases for 95% of the country, as a labour man, do you know how many are in the 5% that are going to be paying all this extra tax for the hundreds of billions they say they will spend? because it doesn't say in the manifesto? I would have thought they know how many there are if they are basing their funding on it?
Based on adult population of UK of 52.5 million, that would suggest the more affluent 2.6 million people. Probably not the most affluent though.

It is simply not viable or credible to genuinely believe this fairytale of promises. It's economics dreamt up by halfwits who need blunt cutlery so not to injure themselves or others. IF (and that's a gigantic IF) everyone and every business that Labour says they're going to tax to generate the obscene amount of revenue required for their pledges, sits back and takes the additional costs and tax implications on the chin without adjusting pricing, employee head count or their personal tax / residential affairs, they'd still only have about half of what they need....half To then also think that businesses won't pass on those additional costs to everyone and every product, and that every obscenely wealthy individual will leave their affairs as they are today and roll over for JC's HMRC then I'm afraid you're not just idealistically starry eyed, you're genuinely retarded. It cannot, and will not end with the 5%. It might suit the 'hate anyone earning more than you ' crowd, until it lands on their doorstep within a matter of months with price rises and unemployment. Just try and have a sensible thought for a minute and consider what will happen when businesses face not only an increase in minimum wage, but also the prospect of a 4 day week and corporation tax rises of circa 7% over the next 2-3 years? Would they: A - Increase Prices B - Reduce costs and overheads (staff/investment) C - Increase prices and reduce costs and overheads Following any of those outcomes, would that more than likely A - Have an adverse effect on Lower Paid Workers B - Have an adverse effect on Higher Paid workers Good game this isn't it....for the many not the few.....he isn't fucking lying
Port, if the tories made the same claim, I would ridicule that too. Labours claim the richest 5% will pay for nearly hundreds and hundreds of millions in taxes is laughable. I suspect the vast majority of those will be closer to the £80k wage than the james dyson billionaire wage look at the nhs or any or all of the emergency services, they will be given the same 4 day working week, so you have to employ extra staff labour have already promised plus, the extra shortfall caused by the 4 day week All of that extra staffing is not just wages, it's pensions, uniforms, buildings, training, equipment, future planning investment, support services etc etc

Sadly I think you are right. It’s disappointing really, when it’s basically a two party contest (except in Scotland) it would have been nice if Labours plans had been more realistic.
