i have learned a few things about brexit deffo, i have had confirmed a few things on human nature. i have been reminded on the lack of what i would of considered general knowledge regarding our own political system and situation. so yip, worthwhile.
Technically I think we've dropped to the 6th, but you know what, I'll take that anyway. I don't think we'd climb back to 5th tied to the EU, but outside of it, and doing trade deals with other nations I reckon it's achievable to get back up there. Then again, maybe I'm too optimistic, but all good decisions in business aren't without risk, those that sit still tend to eventually wither away.
so you respect the fact that the majority voted to leave and are now prepared to get behind brexit and make the best of it instead of spending your energy trying to convince others that its a bad idea?

I think over the course of 224 pages I've gradually moved even more towards it being exactly the right decision. Things won't get any better staying in the EU members club, and whilst they 'could' become a little worse short term, I'm comfortable with the thought that things will become much better, much quicker when we're out. Brexit is a long-term vision, remaining is short term. Poverty is on the rise throughout Europe, it's on the rise within the UK. Globalisation, free movement of cheap labour, ever increasing rental prices are just some of the reasons why and being in the EU isn't helping any of those. I find it amazing that half of the lefties who feel so strongly about such things can't see past the short term turbulence. People need to wake up and grow a pair....Unless your Scottish, because it's all roses up there (and thistles I'm told)
uh huh. talking of benefits, i see the torys are talking about closing 20% of job centers across the uk, but to see how it works out they are gonna close 50% of them around Glasgow (with some of the poorest areas in the uk) first to see how it works out in a poll tax stylie. yip i can see things getting a little worse under the tory's before things get "cough" any better. meh.
