Both parties “say” they will invest. That is not a question. Labour plans will invest in the NHS, not outsourced services. Long term saving as explained to you. Outsourcing though is NOT investment. Its just a cost. This has been explained as well. Continue to argue a “point” as you wish, it doesnt change anything.
Surely using outsourced services can’t be seen as investing. Unless you mean politicians outsourcing services to their friends

If they said to that private hospital no nhs work for you when our contract runs out, mcdonnells simple explanation was we have the workforce already being paid for so we simply transfer them over Ignoring many of the staff in private have already left the nhs to go to private but more importantly that he saw this as a zero cost transfer of work, that is how he see's it, let the contract run out, throw extra work at a hospital without enough staff, equipment or property and that will help as there will be no cost This simply is not achievable, they will either have to build and have ready from day one of nhs takeover, a new building fully kitted out with all the required equipment or, have bought that private hospital and it's equipment, Both have a cost that Mcdonnell refuses to admit will be there.
Aren’t some of the private services using NHS facilities though ? I thought, for example our local MRI center is just run by a private company but the buildings are existing NHS ones.

Some are, yes. my own mri is nhs. On those cases then next logical question would be is the equipment nhs and to what extent are the private companies involved? Mcdonells expectation as described this morning was that from day one of the shutting out private services, the private companies are simply just going to hand over staff, property and equipment for free because that is the only way it could be done for nothing
certainly too many question I don’t know the answer to, perhaps nowadays it’s wishful thinking that some directors somewhere aren’t making big money from the NHS etc.

I don’t like Corbyn at all. He will be a terrible prime minister and his behaviour over anti Semitism and the Salisbury poisonings amongst other things has been deplorable. having said that, he is the only UK party leader with a sensible view on Brexit. let’s look at history Cameron campaigns to remain and lost. Said he would implement it but resigned. May campaigned to remain and was criticised by pro leave groups for not being the LEAVE enough. She had to resign BJ inherits being PM and gets criticised for not being elected in a general election so shortly afterwards we get another election Farage, Mogg etc all said a second referendum would be a good idea so if Corbyn picks a side and loses, then what ? another general election? he has one vote, no more than anyone on this board. This isn’t NI in 1969 when some people get more than one vote and some people get no vote.

I’m not sure about Corbyns public Brexit view, and still think it would be interesting to know what he really thinks (leave or stay). The whole Brexit thing looks like some bizarre film script, with Boris saving the day for the majority (joke). Would people think better of him if he picked a side ? what if he picked the ‘losing’ side but carried on and did what had been voted for ?
A free marketeer like @Loz would privatise the NHS since he doesn’t believe in socialism. he doesn’t believe in the socialist principle of sharing risk, even though a big chunk of City of London capitalism is based on this concept, AKA insurance
