Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. The picture of Boris walking side by side with Corbyn to listen to the queens speech is worth a look

  7. In the pic, Johnsons expression makes me think of someone who is expecting to be found out. Corbyn looks like he has just received a call from his Mom saying Keyser Söze has come to visit.

Was struck coming into work today at the lack of protesters. Every other big Brexit day in the past year featured a festival of pro and anti-Brexit protest outside.
    Today, nothing. Argument over

  15. Corbyn looked in a foul mood yesterday. Did you see the clip on the news when a journo collared him outside his house and said something along the lines "Why are you still in charge of the Labour party?". Corbyn slammed the door of the taxi and nearly took the door of its hinges. I imagine the taxi driver inside saying "Oi you scruffy twat ! Pack it in".

It goes with what I've been saying for a while. He's a right prickly bastard and doesn't like being challenged. You could see it in the leaders debates and interviews, he thought he was above it all. Wanker !

  16. I think his hidden face is coming out and we are seeing what many within his own party saw on a daily basis.

For the countries sake we need a decent opposition, the last 3-4 years can't be repeated again.

I can't see anyone on Labours front bench worthy of the role and so perhaps an appointment as they did before with a temporary leader to give labour the breath to sort their shit out.

Probably Harriet Harman would be a good temporary leader as she is strong enough to take no shite from the corbynista's and then that would allow Labour time to appoint a new leader probably in the spring.

A knee jerk appointment now will see them fuck up the next election too

  17. How is Thornberry even considering standing for the position?

These people have no self awareness. What does she see in herself that we don't see and does she not understand the feeling towards her in the country? A classic case of living in her London constituency echo chamber. She needs to get out of islington South & Finsbury once in a while.
