In Scotland at the last general election there was 1 voter who voted Conservative for every 3.3 that voted SNP, so the answer to your question is YES. Also for every voter who voted for the SNP there was one voter who didn't vote for the SNP. So I don't think it is quite as clear cut as some would have us believe.
