British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  2. We were actually the fourth largest in '92. We slipped to fifth under Blair and Brown's brilliant stewardship.

  5. His timing is poor but the information is correct. Attacks on this level and frequency have only started to happen since Frau Merkel opened the doors, that cannot be denied.

Whilst the attacks are distastefull, sickening and repulsive, the biggest victim of the open door policy could be the European union itself.

  6. So are you just joking, or do you really think that the growth of China into being one of the world's largest economies was (a) a bad thing; and (b) the fault of Blair and Brown?

  7. Gimlet didnt make any comment about China or if their rise was good , bad or indifferent . Why ask the question ?
He also clearly states Blair and Brown`s stewardship was brilliant and surely he thinks the same as you that were it not for those two political titans we would have been 6th or worse.

  8. Of course he did. The rise of China's GDP was the reason why the UK (along with many other countries) was demoted down the list of economies. So if the UK's demotion was the "fault" of Messrs Blair and Brown, according to Mr Gimlet, it seems a reasonable question to ask what his view is of China's rise.

  9. No , he actually says :-
"We were actually the fourth largest in '92. We slipped to fifth under Blair and Brown's brilliant stewardship. "

Words hey, they mean different things to different people.

  10. You are trying to excuse the comments of that piece of shit? Well I never.

  12. Small change of direction but Tingha and Tucker (aka B&B came into discussion). Their economic policies had a significant and damaging impact on the UK economy in their period in office. Blair’s 97 victory was on the back of positioning New Labour as no longer the tax and spend party by promising to match the Conservatives prevailing budget plans. Once in power the economic beast Brown significantly increased public spending to levels well above inflation and lost control as things “only got better”. Remember the NHS IT scheme, PFI and other pieces of financial magnificence. It is also a fact that Brown was Chancellor throughout the run up to the banking collapse in 2008. He wasn’t responsible but presided over the world’s leading financial centre and was either ill-advised or chose to ignore the events as they built up. Either way his actions (or inaction) were a mess and pretty much all that makes up this magnificently amusing thread is a result.

Oh and forgot GWII to boot...

  13. I do feel his timing is poor and I said that but what part is incorrect?

  14. Read what has has said to Jo Cox husband and the charity set up in her name. Hopefully we might see him in court for libel.

  15. PFI was a policy instigated under the Tory party IIRC.

  16. Why don't you tell me duke what it is you think he said? Also, what charity was set up in J Cox's name please?

  17. Whatever you think of Nigel Farage, and you obviously don't think much of him. He's said absolutely nothing wrong.

  18. So why would the charity be considering libel action?

  20. Your confusing two seperate issues duke and for the record, hope not hate was NOT created in memory of Jo Cox, it was created in 1992 and has been funded in the past by such people as George Sorros and the American bankers who often bankroll blm

US donors are husband and wife financiers William Reeves and Debbie Berger, based in Hawaii, who also fund various pro-immigration open borders and black power campaigns in the United States. They handed over nearly half a million dollars (£320,000) to support the activities of Hope not Hate, which, has also employed a number of other people, including a former member of a trotskyite communist organisation and a National Front member turned informer.

They also when the brexit vote result was announced, gave information that they say was research about the rise in islamaphobic and anti european attacks which a number of daily's reported as facts too, until it was shown the figures were false and created by the charity and then the same papers removed the stories completely.

Why are they threatening to sue him, did you know they have launched a crowd funding page to sue farrage, how much of that money do you think will stay with hope not hate?

It's interesting on their "charitable page they have a crowd fund sue farage but on the same page have this
    Statement: Nigel Farage LBC comments
We are aware of a serious and potentially libellous statement made about HOPE not hate by Nigel Farage on LBC radio this morning. We have no idea on what Mr Farage bases his outrageous comments. HOPE not hate has a proud history of campaigning against extremism and hatred.

We will not be making any further comment until we have had the opportunity to consult with our lawyers.

so one minute they want you to give them money to sue him but on the next part they say they haven't consulted their lawyers yet ? Puzzled? HOPE not hate education

Now, back to Farrage, his timing is shit but nothing he has said is incorrect. I would also point out, farrage made the comment and then cox decided to follow it then get involved and NOT the other way around.

We are often told that the european union is a table of 28 countries who all have an equal vote, this is horseshit. Merkel said come one come all with almost no involvement from any other member state. Greece was wiped out by the influx of migrants whilst at the same time being asset stripped by the imf and the ecb

Millions of fighting age young men have been let into Europe, most have not been checked, little is known about them and even now they are still not being stopped after multiple attrocities on european soil.

Farrage was right in that this is Merkels legacy
