I've never once suggested no immigration, and no entry for refugees, but in Germanys case having 800,000+ people at the border profess to all be refugees, when in fact many weren't, required thought and sensible but firm action. Not a welcome one and all policy. For instance, Do you think I have an issue helping woman or children? You know, those nice images we're all fed through the media as though it's all we face? No, far from it, in fact personally I'd encourage them more than anything as it's they who are most oppressed in their native countries, not hoards of 20-30 year old single males.
