British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  2. You don't chug 10% - 12% Belgian beer, just drink it slowly.

Try Kasteel or St. Bernardus (the dark ones). My 2 faves. :Hungry:

  12. I think you'll find it will be English taxpayers just looking around to see what their money is paying for and looking what a country looks like that is neither in Europe or the U.K.

  13. If they have a visa and pay the entry fee , prove that they can or are prepared to learn Gaelic , have their dental records available , bank statement etc then they can enter ,,,for a limited period.

  14. Good luck with that puppy, most Scots struggle with English let alone learn a new language to them such as gaelic

  15. See Jeremy is showing his metal again

Brexit: UK 'could change economic model' if single market access denied - BBC News

What else would we be expected to do?

Obviously the full interview isn't listed in context, but if the question from the German interviewer is 'what are you going to do if you can't have this or that......' Then he's said exactly what needs to be said.

We will do whatever needs doing, the end.

That's what it's all about, doing what needs to be done, not patting it around a table for 10 years

There's no point in lying about it, IF some within the EU want to try and prove a point and during negotiations make things awkward for no reason then it's up to the 27 to pull those people in line and get a result

We only have ourselves to be concerned with and if forced we're entitled to do whatever we would need to do.

Jeremy Corbyn is just a limp wristed idealist without the stomach to get things done.

Hot air and moaning, he's great at that.

  16. Only 2.3% of Scottish speak Gaelic, 2 of whom cannot spell it or punctuate it to an understandable level :)

  17. Your right it is comfortably down south :sunglasses:

  18. I feel that is about time, for too long far to many, particularly remoaners, have made the U.K. out to be a pussy country that is about to get bitch slapped by the EU.

Whether you agree with Brexit or not the one thing most will agree with is the best deal will come from a strong team and pushing we are Great Britain and not Greece or Latvia.

In sheer numbers they need us more than we need them but both sides realise we need each other for this deal to be a win win. It is about time however we stop acting like we are begging for crumbs from the EU table and start reminding a few we helped build the effin table
