British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Politicians. :Bucktooth:

  2. For remoaners this is like mourning period. Soon that will end once article 50 is launched and we get on with it.

They have every right to be unhappy or unsure as different opinions are allowed but I do feel the length of time, whilst prudent, has allowed odious toads like farron and Clegg to stir things up and give some false hope to thoe who do not like change.

Whilst discussing bankruptcy and Trump then you have to look at the alternative, the clintons and to do that you have to remember whitewater, adultery, cash for access through their foundation whilst hilary was still in government etc. By all means say some parts of Trump worry you but lets not paint the alternative as sweet and innocent either.

  3. Did you see Farron on The Sunday Politics yesterday? Do you think him and Clegg are aware of what twats they come over as, no matter what your views on Brexit? :Meh:

  4. No , to discuss trump you do not have to consider the alternative , we all know what trump is , part of that is a multi bankrupt , not exactly an example of good business man , that has nothing to do with Clinton or anyone else

  5. If only that were literal

  6. It would seem the American voters disagreed with you

  7. Which American voters , do you mean the majority of them that voted for clinton ,,,but don't muddy your waters , I thot we were talking about trump

  8. We are talking about Trump and it is you who have muddied the waters by bringing in the popular vote when you know full well that the electorial college decides the presidency.

The same system that Obama, Clinton and bush all used and became president with. The same system everyone was happy with until Trump won then the moaners decided it is a bad system.

  9. Again No , it was you who mentioned " American voters " , I merely pointed out your contradiction

  10. And you who muddied the waters when we were talking about trump , not comparing him to any other tom dick or harry

  11. There was a Thomas (Tom) Jefferson, a Richard (Dick) Nixon, a Harry Truman and all Presidents elected by the Electorial college since 1787 and not by some bloke on a ducati forum who thinks it is suddenly wrong because the person they do not like won. Muddy away dear fellow, muddy away

  12.
  13. I can see that the muddy waters are well above your eyes now , you assume or presume far too much , let me clarify for you , I have never stated whither I approve / disapprove , agree / disagree , am happy / unhappy with trumps success or their system , merely pointing out your contradiction does not indicate my position , only destabilising yours ,, still muddy ?

  14. Guys which ever side of the pond ..... its just Bollotics which summarised means they talk bollocks and as time tics by we find out we have been manipulated and shafted again just by a different set of faces. Great place this world eh!! :mask:

  15. Good word " bollotics " , entirely agree

  16. Exactly what is going "great"?

Bugger all has happened so far, as far as I can see. So I will reserve judgement till it does.

  17. " great " that is trumps word for just about everything , nice simple , suits the folks that voted for him

  18. And "Bigly" that's another one

Which shows that extent of his intellect. The Americans have another George W on their hands I think.

  19. Ahh yes I can see what you mean :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

  20. Using the commonly employed measures, the UK economy is going great.
And with any luck at all, tomorrow May will state quite clearly that the UK is leaving the EU with no strings.Exactly what all and sundry ON BOTH SIDES promised/threatened during the run-up to the Referendum...no more free movement of people,no more membership of the Single Market,no more free movement of goods or services.
Then our ears will hopefully get a rest from all of the Democracy haters that do not agree with the result of the Referendum.
So,as far as I'm concerned,we are doing great, and tomorrow night,we should be doing even better.
When the EU finally wakes up to the fact that the UK's membership and accompanying money supply are being terminated,I'm looking forward to the inevitable and predictable squirming of Juncker and co as they try to wriggle off a hook of their own making.
But lets face it,no matter how much better life becomes for the majority, there will be plenty who will claim,"it could have been so much better if we'd stayed in".
