yip, sir nigal says :Hilarious:. another great british tradition. complain about the lack of democracy then hand more of it to the unelected. nigal says. :Hilarious:.
The proof is in the pudding when it comes to the snp IF the snp had said something like, It will always be our wish for full independence but for now, lets see what the end deal is then we can make a judgement on that and where Scotland fits in with it and where we go next. Instead we keep getting the two fish ignoring the common sense part and all you can hear is the frothing at the mouth painting their faces blue and white shouting independence every five minutes. Can you imagine Salmon as a kid, his mum asks, Alex, would you like coco pops or porridge? Indeeeeependenceeeeee is what I wanttttttt. But Alex I'm only asking what breakfast you'd like? Indeeeeependenceeeeee is what I wanttttttt. If the snp's wish was the best for the Scots then they would be running Scotland properly whilst keeping an eye on what is going on. They are not, they are so transfixed on independence that the fear is for many who do want independence, is the snp doing very little other than go all mel gibson every 5 minutes then it loses impact and becomes the boy who cried wolf or a very bad card player If the SNP really want's to put a case to all Scots then it needs to do so from a history of strength of leadership, they haven't and are unlikely to have that anytime soon. Just shouting independence is not enough.
I'd have more respect for them if they just told the truth. Salmond said it was a "Once in a generation vote", until he lost that is. Now the line is that because the UK has voted to leave the EU and Scotland didn't, all bets are off. But if that hadn't happened, it would have been something else that would be cited as the reason for another referendum. If they just said to the Scottish electorate what the truth is. The SNP's position is to get Scottish independence. If you elect us, you are electing for a referendum for every term in parliament until we achieve our goal. Let the Scots vote on that. But most level headed Scots don't want a referendum every 5 years, they want their government to govern, so it's a vote loser. Perversely, if the SNP just got on with governing and made lives better for the people of Scotland, the electorate would be more likely to come round to their position. They sound like a broken record at the moment.
Not quite fin but I believe the part you are referring to is this Holyrood should have the right to hold a vote if there is “clear and sustained” evidence that independence has become the preferred option of most Scots, or if there is a “material change in circumstances”, such as a vote to leave the EU. Now, the key is the first word, Holyrood. not the people but Holyrood. Where it does mention the people it is written with such ambiguity as to leave an open door for the snp on almost anything anywhere. It is clear at the moment and for some time that the wishes of the people of Scotland ofefr a large majority of not wanting another referendum vote. There is an ask from a small and noisy vocal minority but the majority are not asking for it. The second part, such as a vote to leave the eu betrays the real intent of the snp. Had it been written in a way to review the results and impact rather than if a vote ever happens we disagree with then I would have said they were thinking of the best for Scotland and not to supplement the tunnelled vision of the snp Similar to the claim, the snp will not intefere in English matters unless it effects Scotland has seen a lot of piss taking by the snp. O look johny in surrey is drinking iron bru so we have a right to block or comment on London They give the impression of what is best for Scotland they will do but just like ukip, they only have one real goal. They wrote it into their own papers but their is no mandate by the Scottish people to have a second vote
ffs sake, why o why am i arguing with a child. its in their manifesto, they won on there manifesto. ie by the people. between them and the greens there is a majority in favor of. jeeze. yer never done talking about it. ie, the no campaign never ended. lets try this approach. up until may 2015 we had mostly red torys from up here, getting involved in yer parochial shit by voting to a party whip. you didnt have a problem then. now we have 56 out of 59 mostly not getting involved in yer crap, unless it can affect barnet, now it just so happens barnet consequential are generally related to your public services and infrastructure. ie they are voting to protect YOUR public services. but coming from a tory, i can see how you take issue with that. now, trying to run business here. no more time fir yer pish. maybe later.
What makes you think I'm a tory? Your blinkered view maybe that unless everyone agree's with the snp then they must be a tory or "alt right" They wrote two parts, one for the people in that if the people wanted another vote, which has been shown since the last one, poll after poll after poll, that there is no majority wish for that from the Scottish people And the second part the EU out was the snp their "we can do anything WE want no matter what the result is and if we can't get it one way we will try another" as to the snp helping to protect the rest of the U.K. and England, it's a bit early for you to be on the wakki bacci aint it?
A treacherous snake spreading his poison. UK Economic Minister Blasts Trump’s ‘Populism’ Before Davos Elite I shall look forward to seeing his exit from politics at the next election.
