  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  5. Good to see you're still playing the snp victim fin, slight point

Can you confirm for me that this budget was actually agreed with the Scottish governments negotiators and approved by them ?

would this be the very same one they were declaring as a win for Scotland?

  6. I sympathise with finm and his mates. Westminster determines what my County Council can raise and spend, too, it's a diabolical liberty.

In fact, why can't I just retain my tax money and pick & choose what I spend it on?
Blimey, finm and I are both Libertarians. We might both be TEA Party members, too!

  7. because you live in a region of england with ZERO chance of changing things.
nay luck dude. we still have a chance.

  8. Silly finm, you simply live in a part of England that talks funny. That's about it. Aside from that, you're as under the cosh as anyone else in any other region of the UK.

Mind you, you'd have to march further to protest at the seat of government ... no wonder you're a grumpy folk.

  10. Capital letters in play; issues with the keyboard or some emphasis to the points being made?

  11. probably for emphasizing i guess, you know how it is, some people need it rammed square in their face before they accept they where wrong.
btbh, why would anybody go looking for the facts if the express, mail, torygraph etc provides all the material required for those only interested in carping from the sideline?
btw, good analysis citizen loz. i will set me alarm clock for 2043, just to confirm that you will still be on here, bitchen about the same things, about the same people, to the same audience. yip, yer deffo a mover and a shaker. :smileys:.
    silly loz. :Hilarious:.

  12. Ahhh admitting they were wrong, the snp are such standard bearers for that :flushed:

So whilst toodling around the house last night and doing the accounts, I had newsnight on and one of the chuckle brothers was on, Alex bless him.

    BBC iPlayer - Newsnight - 24/01/2017

Should anyone wish to see it it is on last nights Newsnight and comedy section starts at 6 minutes and finishes at 11.31, I'll cover the basics

Pretty much most of the way through Alex remains bullish but as it goes on it starts to show just how much he is clutching at straws.

He mentions the percentage vote of Scotland was higher to remain in the EU than it was to remain in the UK and yes it was. However he deliberately uses the percentage figure rather than the numbers for good reason.

The amount of Scots who voted to stay in the U.K. was 2,001,926, the amount of Scots who voted to stay in the EU was 1,661,191 so you can see why Alex and the snp would stay away from the actual number of Scots voting for what

He mentions the people and the brexit vote and is challenged that it was the same in Scotland for the whole of the U.K. 1 person 1 vote, alex just tried to shrug it off and wouldn't answer that question.

He said that if a deal can be offered to Gibraltar, the Channel Islands, City of London and Nissan then Scotland should be offered a deal. The negotiations haven't started yet but apparently alex has the inside track on deals that haven't been offered. What has happened is that gib and the channels are being treated as the same as the rest of us, an equal consideration, as to nissan, if you want the same deal then you would have to move Scotland to tyneside and build cars. He clearly is a fortune teller from a snake oil circus

He suggested a similar country of a country does work already and used Switzerland and Lichtenstein. The Uk's population minus the Scots is 58.9 million and the Scottish population is 5.2 million.

Alex's "fair" comparison as he see's it, is Switzerland which has the largest population of 8 million and lichtenstien has a population of.....37,000. Yep Alex bless him did just compare Scotland to a country of 37 thousand.

Most media are waiting to see who trips up first on a referendum, Alex or Nicola and last Night Alex won the prize. He was pushed, why don't you just call the referendum now, the polls show there is not enough demand for it from Scotland . He said if May doesn't do as the Scots want her to do then there would be call for a referendum within the 2 year eu negotiation period but not in 2017. So using within two years means they want one in 2018

This re-affirms what I have been saying, without even knowing what the end deal is and how it will effect Scotland the snp want Scotland out of the U.K. at all costs and no matter what the cost to Scots

It also backs up my point in that they are desperate to get this done and done quick as they suspect at the end of 2 years it won't be as bad as the snp suggest and by then most Scots would have seen through the snp's bias.

He signed off showing his true hand when asked about if they lose a second one will that be it for a while? He avoided the question

  14. What part of my summation did he not say?

  15. its not what he says, it is how you choose to ( miss ) / interpritate it,, clever i give you that,, you must have been top of your uni debating soc.

  16. Again. what part did he not say

  17. again,, its not what he said or didnt say,, it is the way you choose to ( miss ) / interprit and further ( miss ) / represent it ,and then base your argument on that. .

  18. Okay lets try it this way

Why do you think he used percentages re the Scots indi and Scots eu votes rather than the actual amount of people who voted and for what?

Did he say he wanted the same deal as a car manufacturer in England

Did he compare Scotland to a country of 37,000

Did he say they would call for a second indi vote within the 2 year negotiations but not in 2017

Did he avoid answering the 1 person 1 vote question

and lastly, did he avoid answering the question put to him that if the snp lose a possible vote for the second time would that be it for 30 or 40 years?

    I'd value your opinion.
