British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Just the one typo in all of that, its spelt 'Better' , not 'Bitter'

Perhaps its a language barrier :)

    Massive progress :D

  9. Absolutely.
And once these newcomers have risen to positions of power in Scotchland, maybe the Northernmost territory will be ruled properly again. We can hope!

  10. I've noticed this on the smaller Scottish islands. They're full of vegetarian down-sizers from southern England with children called Dicken and Sky who need haircuts. Off-putting.

  11. Starbucks and Kale farms have announced expansion plans in the outer Scottish Islands and the town council have built porta cabins for the indigenous Scots as pretty soon they will not be able to afford the houses their families have owned for centuries due to gentrification

Junker has said Scotland's place in Europe may now be a consideration as more of them can now speak proper English and they can finally be understood

  13. Little surprise there. During the election what surprised me initially was how many Asian communities were voting to leave. At first I thought if anyone would understand they would about not having strict migration but then the more interviews that took place the more it became obvious.

The migrants who took over the high street small shops in the 70's and 80's, were now complaining the migrants of today, taking over THEIR small high street shops, mostly they referred to Eastern Europeans. There was an irony here.

The education part, a degree does not certify common sense or more real world knowledge, never has. Students largely are idealistic and this is also possible to be that way when many are being supported by their parents but they also have no knowledge first hand of how the EU evolved beyond it's remit and how it went far beyond what it was ever supposed to be.

As much as they moan about the older people, as we did I am sure when we were young, it's comforting to know that they soon will be older people too

  17. Fatbot's migraine no doubt a result of the Scottish she was suppin the night before with Miss Chuckyabutty. Not just any Scottish but a wee dram of the fine malt Laphroaig by appointment to the man from Wales. One of the establishments that will benefit from an independent Scotland. :Blackeye::Blackeye:
