British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I did but I read the entire article and not just the graph you supplied.

Within the article this point was made that you do not mention " The contraction of UK real wages was reversed in 2015"

Anyway for the FULL article type into your google search engine Contraction of wages. The first article should be
How wages fell in the UK while the economy grew - Financial Times

Click on that first link in the search results for the full article. I can't post a link to it as it just asks to subscribe if you do.

The minimum wage will help you understand a bit more duke

    National minimum wage

In it's simplest form, the U.K. was told by Blair that eu migration to the U.K. would be less than 50k. Some 3 million later the wages have been kept artificially low by a flooded labour market who from poorer countries will do it cheaper

I don't blame the migrants for this, they want a better life. I do blame opportunist U.K. and U.K. based companies. Blocking the E.U. migrants free travel and and implementing a work visa programme to match our need will help address this I feel, how much I'm not sure but it is a start to re-address the balance.

  3. It appears to have little to do with being an EU member as there are plenty of EU countries there sharing the increases in GDP by an increase in wages. Much more to do with the massive imbalance in wealth in the UK and the greed of a very small minority.

  4. editing posts after the fact noob? hmm.
loz, i cant see yer face palms when your on ignore.
anyhoo, auld Mayhem went down well yesterday at the s,con spring conference, rallying her troops and celebrating the massive resurgence, yip, great speech, i see it now, i didnt realize just how much of a nasty nationalist i was.

  11. Yup, the link I put in went to the Times. I didn't realise that when you do that the link turns into subscribe to read so I ammended the link to show the search and the title to look for, Nothing sinister and nothing to blame the English for there

I think what is worrying the snp brainwashed is that yes the tories are on the up. May elections, I suspect the snp will say if elected again they will insist on another referendum vote because as we know those votes work well for those who allow them, Cameron anyone?

And this has been my point all along, the fishies know there is a sweet spot for a leaving the U.K. but honest, I think they missed it and now all they can do is huff and puff and with no wind left, will be blowing no one elses house down.

Dare I say it, She tried to be on the international stage whilst being only a national leader and the longer it goes on, the more people will see that and that is why she is in a rush. Better for her to take Scotland out and fuck the consequences, not so good for the Scottish people.

  18. Tut Tut fin, OUR government, all you have up north is a devolved council, the U.K. has a government, Scotland does not. Whether you like it or not, Mrs May, the Tory in Westminster, is the leader of your government too. You know this to be true
