Why should we believe Junker was astonished, if, as this article suggests, he had two documents ready to pull out of his bag. This is just the usual pejorative bollox from a dyed in the wool Nat who loves to bash the Tories at Westminster. Scotland may, or may not, leave the UK at some point in the future. Meanwhile we, the UK, are, most likely, going to be leaving the EU, and it is in all of our interests to get the best possible deal and not undermine it at every opportunity.
usual tory bashing? are you suggesting the government of the day shouldn't be scrutinized by something other than the daily mail or telegraph? the best deal will be found by listening to and acting in the best interest of everybody. not just the tory party. more smoke without fire? MPs demand 'cash for conservatives' investigation in to Tories alleged "dirty money" tricks | CommonSpace
If we leave without a deal we won't have a penny to pay the EU is more like what you meant. I just fail to see how business will accept that.
isnt it ironic coming from the tory party when just 3years ago they had the polar opposite to say on a similar issue. but a different reff. tick tock.
Far from it Fin they can all have a go. Personally I would like to see more scrutinising of the snp by "The National" but it's unlikely to happen Tough titties to be honest and you still don't get it. Business has been deciding for far too long, the people had a vote, we made a decision, the business's will either adapt or feck off. To kid yourself however they will stay in the U.K. no matter what the conditions is a business idiocy. Business will always put business first, they have loyalty to no one other than their investors.
It's March 2019, there is no trade deal in place (which I think is now a given in view of how little time there is) so straight away all import and export trade has to be done under WTO rules and tariffs. Is that not how it works?
Yes, yes I do fin. You have to remember though, to a cybernat such as your goodself, even a slight bit of dissent against comrade sturgeon and her little yellow book is viewed as heresy but to any one else it might not even be a story. All part of the nats victimhood mentality. Accusing others of not looking at others one minute then claiming "unionist tories at westminster" should be investigated more, When it it comes to the snp and particularly nic, the old saying comes to mind, methinks the lady doth protests too much. Duke don't ever have sex, your rushing to get there may see some claim they were faking to please you. It's May 2017 and to the best of my knowledge duke, most of the world operates on wto rules do they not? this might help your scaremongering wayward ways duke, The WTO currently has 164 members which between them are responsible for 95% of world trade. From the institute of government. 10 things to know about the World Trade Organization (WTO) | The Institute for Government
noob noob noob. just where do you get it from?. you do not read the national. and funnily enough, i dont buy it ether. i dont pay for any paper. yer obsessed man. talking of protesting to much Theresa May accuses EU of trying to influence UK election in astonishing attack | The Independent
If it does then the UK economy will benefit immensely as we import more than we export - but you know this already don't you? :Bucktooth:
how many of the top wealthiest countries are outside the EU, use WTO and are renowned for their wealth distribution?
He means how many communist states trade under WTO rules. The answer is none because communist states have nothing to trade.
Surely that's only true if your population can afford to still buy the goods once the tariffs are applied. Motor vehicles the tax can be 20%. How many people will be able to afford a £25k car that now costs £30k with the tariff applied. Plus the inflation rate shoots through the roof in the first month. How will the B of E control inflation which it is their duty to do? Much of food imported has higher tariffs still. Also goods the U.K. Exports will go up by the same amounts. So will we still sell as much abroad? Strikes me some are looking at it in very very simple terms without thinking about the deeper reality of it. I would include Tory girl and her clueless mates in that.
