British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  2. May can leave in March 2019 if she wishes. She doesn't want to as she knows what a shitstorm it will create.

  3. In a program on Cassini recently the engineers said they simulate everything and hate it when things don't go according to plan, the scientists on the other hand, loved it when the unexpected happened because it gave them another problem to solve.

  4. We have triggered Article 50 and leaving in March 2019 is not in doubt. I do not expect a negotiated settlement prior to that date. The only question is when our leaders admit that to us.

  5. April 2019 will be when the shit hits the fan.

  9. It would be nice if this Judicial Review would work it's magic,in voiding the 1972 EC Act.
But I wouldn't trust the Supreme court as far as I can spit.
I'm not promoting UKIP or any other political party by posting this.
Just didn't know whether the Judicial Review was common knowledge,(I lifted the following off Facebook a few seconds ago).

  12. With no agreement in place import prices will rise by WTO tariffs on the 1st April. I wonder what the inflation rate might be for April 2019?

  13. Well as with all money it seems to be the same money just going around in different ways at different times

By just to keep you happy, lets suggest three hundred and seventy twelve :D

I did hear that a planet a million squillion miles away will just miss us, was that you too?

  14. Awwww, leave him alone. He seems happy in his world of manic depressive gloom. :grinning:

  15. I reckon this is all planned by the negotiation teams to publicly state very minor details each press conference. That way when we go to wto they can all do a 'kiss and tell' book deal later and the worldwide sales will plug the gap in each countries economies

  16. Despite making it clear on the vote that we wanted the U.K. courts to be the end of state body, the eu is still struggling with the concept that they will not be involved in our laws or courts. They are insisting that a two tier court process is enforced onto Britain where eu people can ignore the U.K. courts when it comes to the appeals process. I know of no other trade agreement where the eu does this as most would say up yours junkers.

  17. I daresay you don't know of any EU citizens who emigrated to a country that subsequently left the EU either?
