British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Diane, Diane, have you hacked dukes account again, you've been warned about this.

  2. There you go, you want to stay "IN', vote Labour. How will the Labour voting regions that voted "LEAVE" react to this in the next G.E.

Labour is so obsessed with taking a polar posotion to the Conservative Party on every issue, it's blown it's foot off here.

  4. Worth a listen

  5. Guy Verhoffstadt gave the game away towards the end of his interview by Andrew Marr on Sunday. He is basically fucking us over with the intention of bringing the government down with the hope that whoever replaces them is more on message with the EU.

He takes the view that if we leave without a deal then we are doomed, what he fails to realise is that we are not doomed, we can trade successfully under WTO rules, also the EU would lose more than the UK in the event of a trade war.

The rest of the world trades with the EU without being subjected to the ECJ or being dictated to by the EU in areas such as immigration policy.

These little Europeans need a dose of reality, the rest of the world is leaving them behind, do we want to stay with them or leave. Hang on a minute we already answered that question...

  6. Quite :eyes:

  7. Guy Verhofstadt is a clown.

He's entirely off message compared to the actual members of the EU, he continues to bang on about an ever closer union, and all i ever hear from him are off the cuff soundbites trying to keep himself in the spotlight so not to be forgotten.

The man is a grade A bellend, who just so happens to look like an extra from the Adams family.

Im sorry, but he's the sort of snide little cretin that would screw anyone over to get a leg up or improve his level of importance.

  10. Worth recalling his past activity in government .

Belgium still haunted by paedophile scandal
... So maybe Dutroux is being protected from on high. What other explanation can there be for such a disgraceful chain of events? But one thing is certain - the entire credibility of the current reformist government of Guy Verhofstadt and Belgium's very reputation as a normal civilised country is on the line. Further delay is unacceptable.

  11. As if the British government come out smelling of roses on this theme. How many paedophiles have they knighted to date?

  13. I think you have to read up on Marc Dutroux, he is a different kind of Animal, the people who's picture you post above are bad enough but Dutroux took it to a very different level!

  14. More like a hard spot.

  15. Just watch this, the arrogance and superiority of the man is frankly astounding

He has used 'euro skepticism' as a weapon and excuse to push further integration for years. An obsessive vile conniving weasel of a man.

Forever pointing his paranoid finger in one direction at the non believers whilst hurrying EU members in the other citing threats of war if further integration doesn't happen. He's the original project fear

Guy Verhofstadt comes across as someone who was bullied as a child and has wormed his way in to a protected position of power.

Any power will do, it doesn't matter, and even more so when he doesn't even have to actually listen to voters to retain it.

Anyone who's happy to associate themselves with him, or his position just because of a referendum result, seriously needs their head checking.

    Yeah......I'm not a fan

  16. nearly every person involved in Belgium politics is on par with African dictatorship levels of corruption, they are a real joke, and he is one of the worst..............

  17. The quotation is unattributed, but since it mentions the "current" government of Guy Verhofstadt, who left office in Belgium over 10 years ago, it must be from some years before that. Dutroux was arrested in 1996, years before Verhofstadt became PM, and he was tried for his many crimes, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment (where he has remained ever since) during the Verhofstadt premiership. So what point are you trying to make?

Guy Verhofstadt is a politician. He sometimes makes speeches and publishes books and articles proposing reforms, arguing for the changes he favours, and trying to persuade voters to support his ideas for the future. This is what politicians do. Again, so what? Anyone can agree or disagree with anything he (or any other political leader) says, obviously, but there is no reason why he shouldn't advocate policies.

  18. A pervert is a pervert regardless of Nationality. Plenty of top level British MPs and royalty been protected by MI5 in the past so they could carry on with their disgusting behaviour.

Its irrelevant to the subject but since the Brexitards brought it up.
