no exe. i dont think you should. exe. please dont fall out with i but that first line suggests to me you have led a v.sheltered life.:Nailbiting: to me it was obvious after indi1 which way the EU reff 1 was gonna go. you dont have to look to far in any direction including on here to see how this country like others has become. maybe it was always that way but now we, sorry they have a different target to take it out on. all we needed to know was which way to point the gun farage and co was the general, the media (some, most?) was the willing messenger along with some chines whispers along the way. they kent fine what they where doing. deffo.
Two small points - you do know of course that companies in the FTSE 100 operate internationally, so that most of their turnover, profits, and assets (and hence their value) exist in non-Sterling currencies. Their share prices in the FTSE100 are however denominated in £Sterling. So if the £ drops by (say) 10% or 15% you would expect the share price to rise by a corresponding 10% or 15%. If it doesn't, that amounts to a drop in value. You must also know that companies' share prices depend largely on their assets and profits as they stand today. Predictions, risks and hopes about profitability and value 3 years or more into the future are a factor, but not a large one. The further Brexit is postponed, and the more likely it is not to happen, the stronger the markets become.
Would you like me to advise on the next Scottish Indi leave campaign perhaps? Spokesman maybe? I'm sure it would be fun and I could come and live with hills and pig ponds - v. nice :smileys: You could buy me a beer
I've mentioned before that I have a Greek feller working for me,only arrived this year, started for me a couple of months ago. He doesn't speak a lot of English and I think that's what was holding up his employment here, but he's a smart bloke,(used to be a driver/camera tech for Greek TV),and I wasn't going to pass him by. I like to give people a chance,I'm no socialist but he's come here to build a better life for his family and that's not easy. Talked to him about Brexit,he said if only Greece would get the chance. I voted Leave, but apparently employing people of all denominations and treating them exactly the same as anyone else isn't good enough for some on here.I don't care where they come from,or what colour they are,we are all human beings and if they do the job properly they get the rewards. And I tell everyone of them when they start,we are like family, and when the day comes that they leave I want them to be better qualified, more experienced, and to look back and say we were a good firm to work for. Everyone had their own reasons for voting the way they did,but I'd sooner rely on someone with experience to vote for the good of others than these fucking close minded cry babies who are bleating because they haven't got what the BBC told them they wanted. And if it wasn't for the media and their friends in the commons the result of the Referendum would be forgotten, and everyone would be looking for the best of it. What about those of us who've suffered under the yoke of the EU for years? Fuck the 52%,they are all c*nts, you're the only ones who knew what you were doing? Jesus wept listen to yourselves....arrogance doesn't come into it... All you think about is yourselves, you don't give a fuck about anyone else, and because the majority saw through the bullshit and you didn't you are trying to overturn the democracy that your grandparents and others died for? The very thing that prevents wars and gives folk a chance to shape their own destiny, you want to end it and throw it away because you didn't like the result? Tell you what, take your racist generalisations and fuck off....I'm sick of hearing from these unbelievably selfish pricks..
Do you, as a Remain voter, accept that you were voting alongside people whom you did not agree with (presumably child molesters etc) or are you in denial of this fact ?
John, why are you wasting your time asking? You know what they are going to say,so just use the ignore button and fuck them off completely
Pete knows his stuff on economics. By all means disagree with his politics but don't dismiss his views on the economy and finance too readily. So you know the difference between the accelerator and the multiplier? You can bet Pete does...
we are here watching each other get increasingly rude to each other , why,, over a topic which has been falsely represented, fudged and spun ,,many were fooled by project fear on both sides,, england is tearing itself apart , talk of dieing in wars for democracy and other sensationalist ( if topical ) utterings,, all for something which is only going to be further spun and twisted until it is either overturned or forgotten,, and all perfectly legally,,, there will be no brexit nor ( unfortunatly ) another indie ref... the brexits can enjoy / gloat about their " victory " but soon they too will also be loosers,,, keep your powder dry and your energy and enthusiasim strong for when you need it, if you still feel the fight is worth fighting...and dont be rude to each other,, remember , you are all in it together.
WTF? :smileys: where did i here that last sentence before? hmm. fair point. and i think your half right. :Angelic::smileys:
