Government cannot function without the support of business, big and small. Brexit will piss off both when they can no longer trade as they have been. With the exception of those self-made millionaire businessmen, most of whom have used offshore companies and cheap labour to line their nests and now either reside abroard or use non-Dom status to avoid supporting Britain financially, business and the Bank of England are saying a hard Brexit will cause a lot of hardship for a lot of people, yet still this Country is following the path to disaster.
Morning chuckles, spreading the love again I see. Brexit will go through and hopefully the brexit that we voted for or the tories will be out at the next election Now those self made business's/people with offshore accounts and nom dom status, have always been there and will always be there in some form, there have always been extremes but if I can make this point? We have had them within the last 45 years whilst IN THE EU so the whether we are in the eu or out makes no difference. I would go so far as to say, given the no borders within the eu, has probably allowed these people to move people and finances more easily than from one non eu country to another non eu country. Actually if you look at your claim duke, most of it is shite, but that won't surprise many. IF you look at the expullsions being put on Russian's, more attention is in asking them where their money has come from and what and who they are. Whilst we do this and continue to do this, very few eu countries are doing this at all. so your higgeldy piggeldy finance book is stumbling at the opening page The bank of england should always be listened too but it should not be forgotten that not so long ago, they predicted the world would end if we voted for brexit, and even as recent as last december said, perhaps our forecasts were not as accurate as we had predicted and we are doing better than predicted. Now in the final months they are ramping up project fear again...it's easy to see what they do Business is like a lot of middle aged, middle class I'm doing alright jack and I don't like change remainers, they don't want a change and are mostly accepting that the eu commission needs to change but in their hearts and heads know they never will and even knowing that, feel better the devil you know. Business's who work within a democracy obviously have a part to play and should be listened too, but that does not mean within that democracy business should overide democracy Every thing I've seen suggests what I call one and a half, half of their cause is about staying the same, the other one part is knowing what the rules are if change is too happen and knowing them in enough time to allow planning and resourcing. a good example is the fishing fleet, the eu fisheries policy decimated the U.K. fishing fleet industry and within our own waters. There is now expected to be a bumper rise in our own fishing fleet but no captain of a boat is going to shell out for a new boat for commercial fishing which could cost upward of £100,000 and the same is the rest for industry, until they know what is going on. Business will adapt, it adapts all the time in a democracy and on a daily basis sometimes, but the sooner they are informed what happens next in either direction, the better I'll end this post with a reply to your first line duke Government cannot function without the support of business, big and small. Government or business cannot function without the support of the people and in a democracy, those people have votes
Gotta love some fake news, could try some real stuff for a change? https://www.independent.co.uk/voice...gle-market-brexit-eu-labour-row-a8347606.html http://christophereverard.co.uk/kinnocks-10-million-pay-off-and-the-eu-secret-bank-accounts/ https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wo...ck-son-accused-of-tax-evasion-in-Denmark.html
The second one above just stop short of accusing ‘them’ all of being lizard overlords who came to earth at the time of the Egyptians and have since ruled earth.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reptilians David Icke seemed convinced TBF, for many this is as likely as Mohammad or any other God
No worries As the usual brexit seems to still be us versus the eu rather than lets see the eu we want to leave. There is a undertone in German politics about whether they should have their own nuclear bomb as they seem unsure if the cover the u.s. once gave them, is still there under Trump Just an article for reading and little more https://www.politico.eu/article/german-bomb-debate-goes-nuclear-nato-donald-trump-defense-spending/
Oh dear....its taken them 40 years but they are getting ever closer to European and World dominance...and without spending any money (we did that for them) or shedding any blood (we shed ours to protect them, too). Now THAT is political will and German efficiency for you
Imagine if you will, that the U.K., the home of modern democracy, instead of looking like a basket case for brexit, may actually be the birthplace of modern anti globalisation within europe by simply exercising a democratic vote
Maybe, but every now and again it's nice to remind politicians and big business that people have a voice too and we intend to use it.
