British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. If we have as expected, a seasonal worker permit scheme. This would hold employers to a far higher standard and a loss of a licence in the same way a publican or transport manager holds an individual licence to then employ others. Remove the farmers/agencies/gangmaster's seasonal workers permit, you stop it at source.
    .
    uh huh.

  3. There is no data supporting the suggestion that cheap unskilled labour imported from outside the UK drives down UK wages.

    Ho ho ho. Priceless.

Experts. What are they useful for, apart from target practice?

    Random thought:
Q: what is the hardest thing in the world to find?
A: something someone doesn't want found.

  4. is there a glut of workers?.
lowest unemployment rates in a long time, longest period of wage stagnation for.considerably longer.
so was the Swedish result a disappointment? why are the bbc bigging it?

  5. And why aren't you hard at work, like I told you?

    Hmm?

  6. a separatists work, is never done loz.

  7. They're too busy chinnin'.

  8. Countries starting with S seem to produce most of the drama, bbc are infactuated by it.

  9. with other chinnin miesters?

  10. i will take that as an affirmative. :upyeah:

  11. finm, stop chatting and get on with your work. Don't concern yourself with the comings and goings of meisters.

  12. The Swedish result as was expected, the eu don't listen and the far right go up. Has happened in most of the recent european national elections, except for the U.K. where we don't have a far right political party and europe has loads.

All hail the welcoming eu :D

  13. i thought you predicted a 2nd place, hence yer misplaced disappointment.
so, an increase of a whopping 4%. right wing zoomers always go out and vote, take the tory/kippers for example.
with everything the press has been throwing at them, 4% more zoomers chose to go out and vote. big deal.
as did the center-left increase by 4%.
why should the 28 sovereign govs encourage a shift in EU values because of a result like that, however, what they should be doing is lobbying/sanctioning govs that causes migration issues in the first place.

  14. Not me, me old fungus face :D

That's your snp budgetary training kicking in fin, i.e. crap at figures as well as politics:D

The Swedish vote has the two major conventional parties around 40% and the Swedish democracts have raised from 12.9% to 18%

It's not a shift fin but it is one of the reasons why we are leaving. The eu project doesn't listen and see's these events as "populism" to convince themselves it is not their arrogance and not listening.

best example, Merkel said open the doors. Most people with common sense could see the beginning of the end not only for the eu project but also for many cultures of the individual countries. Merkel and the eu did not listen and now it's coming to fruition, rather than say hands up, we fucked up, they want to blame the far right, populism, brexit...in fact anyone and everything other than the true culprit, the eu commission themselves.

  15. Wait, wait, back up.

    finm is crap at politics??
    Why wasn't I told?

  16. because nobody wanted a 40k word essay on it....
hmm, sure you predicted a 2nd place, deffo massive swing to the zoomers noob.
populist votes, short campaign, media lead, from 20% to 51% in a few short moths. that my learned friend, is the definition of a populist vote.

  17. And we are once again back to discussing the SNP. FFS!

  18. Pretty sure I didn't fin, happy for you to show me where I did?

I dunno about moths, are you clouseau?

As to that other gumpf, fin we are talking about national elections, the Swedish democrats got 18% of the national vote, our last national vote the snp got 3%.

To help you, Swedes vote means that both socks and gloves off to count, snp, just one sock off.

  19. well, you are, loz, even with my eyes shut i can still tell, yer analysis is straight from the express
