British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Air has nothing to do with it. Open international agreements: zero EU controls

  2. Oh and I'm in Madrid at the moment, we also ran a poll last night with some locals regarding Brexit.

Results were fairly unanimous and they think our decision was maravilloso and that barnier, juncker and verhofstadt are a bunch of putos

    I know....shocking isn't it :scream:

  3. That pretty much sums up the position they're appearing to take, and yet it surely can't be true because the Guardian are pro 'free press' aren't they?

I mean a quick Google brings up many articles criticising Trump for attacking the press and the Guardian feel free press is a must....how very strange

  4. And still they cannot grasp why the UK voted to leave and why millions of other Europeans will vote the same when they get the chance.

The blindness and stupidity of these people is beyond satire.

  5. Nearly there..

  6. It’s plain arrogance and ego.

  7. The EU controlling the press and other media outlets, that should come in handy; “European approach to media based on quality and smart regulation, if needed”.

Why is May sticking with Chequers is the only possible deal?

  8. Exactly. By who’s standards... NO different to China or N. Korea.

  9. She's sticking to Chequers so that when we go to WTO, everyone will say, "Well at least that's better than Chequers".

  10. A very large Automotive supplier is looking like folding very soon in Italy - BMW and VW / Audi are crawling all over them as I type - despite Brexit :eyes:

  11. Despite Brexit? Or in spite of Brexit? Those are the choices, dude.

  12. Both maybe :)

  13. Ford Dag on the JLR asy going on a 3day week due to drop in JLR engine quotas

  14. Having lunch just south of Munich. :yum

The lady owner of the pub reckons we were right to get out of the EU, and this is right in the middle of car country. :upyeah:

Off to Innsbruck this afternoon and will report more Euro news soon :)

  15. And of course JLR are still getting their new Engine Plant up to speed - our orders are starting to improve from JLR and are ahead of current forecast since 2 weeks ago - it's a topsy turvy time though for the global automotive industry.

  16. Thanks our very own roving, truth seeking Brexiteer EU correspondent :):upyeah: I will be in Belgium next week and will be having a few words if I recognize any of those Brussels tossers I see threatening us on't telle

  17. Roving reporter Robarano checking in. :bucktooth:

After leaving Munich and talking to people who all agreed that leaving the EU was a great decision on our behalf, I travelled back to Austria to continue my investigative journalism.

I stopped by this lake to talk to an old man I saw fishing. I asked him about Brexit and he told me.....”Mein got, zis iz ein fantastish decizion by you Englanders” (British I think he meant to say, but I didn’t want to criticise him in his 2nd language). “You vill haben control over your fishing waters again unt ze ability to set your own tariffs unt trade vis ze rest of de welt visout ze EU controlling you”. “I vish is Deutsche could have ze referendum too” :bucktooth:

He asked me not to post his picture for fear of reprisals by “Zat Bitch Frau Metkel against Austria” :( So here’s a pic of my bike by the lake :motorcycleduc:

He also shouted “Tell ze duke he iz a knob” as I rode away. :eyes:
