Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  2. Still plugging the OK to be Scots nationalist but being U.K. centric is a bad thing hypocrisy then :upyeah:

God forbid someone should be English nationalist.

Cue all English are racists from the lot that charge English students more than anyone else

  3. *facepalm* dude, the whole video is dedicated to you, yours and the Irish question. honestly, try and remind yourself what you have posted in the past. it offers a good and respectful insight/opinion to what many people in England appear, including yourself feel about your national identity being removed by the bigger state.
now, re this education thing. we have been here before. our education system, like our law system is completely separate from the rUK. always has been. there seems to be this continual theme across the rest of the UK that if its pish for us, it should be pish for everybody.
if you have to pay for your education or any other service in England, take it up with May. there's yer problem.
its been proven many times that removing means testing is often cheaper, healthier reduces the attainment gap, stigmatization.
and at the end of the day, why shouldn't somebody that pays more tax benefit from the same services as everybody else?

  4. That's clearer, I thought you were supporting the EU for a minute :sob:

  5. I've watched your vid this morning fin, god I will never get that hour back. If you had been honest and had it titled I'm a remainer (even though I don't live in the U.K. and so couldn't vote) and here is why brexit is wrong.

Snp, nationalist as fuck and makes no apology for it and seizes every opportunity for the nationalist cause
Sinn Fein nationalist as fuck and makes no apology for it and seizes every opportunity fro the nationalist cause
    Both you see as acceptable

Then you say English nationalism is a bad thing and that is what caused the vote decision

The votes of the U.K. were just that, votes of the U.K. and so how do you justify those welsh, Northern irish and Scottish wanting to leave too, as little Englanders and English nationalism? simply you can't so you go on the diverts ....grr England took us out (the figures you and I can both see, say that is not the case)

Some who are england centric as those who are welsh, N.I. and Scottish centric, sought to be proud of their nation of where they live. The majority of those who voted, voted to leave the eu and little more.

You can't fight that so come out with all these reasons to explain it to yourselves rather than the common sense real world answer, as a relationship, it had run its course and enough people agreed with that in the largest democratic vote in our history. Yes it was that simple

  6. what di you find useful in that diatribe loz? i know you can do sensible when when it suits yah. did it confirm what i already suspect about yer mans motives? i think he is a nationalist of sorts too, a shit stirrer, a peddler of pish designed to cause division where non need exist.

  7. No nationalist at all. I think the entire forum if asked who is a nationalist fin, your name would be top of the list.

What about my above post is incorrect fin, happy to listen to your view?

  8. i think it was pish. for all the usual reasons.
but i will ask, show me where i said English nationalism is by definition bad?

  9. No fin I don't want, it is pish, reasons please. Can I ask also, have you been to a farm in Aberdeenshire this morning?

  10. no, i left Aberdeen about 20 odd years ago. but if i had, i no doubt would of caught you hanging out the back of some poor old sow...
btw, pish is the best yer gonna get, if its easier for people to believe that we are all born righting raving nationalist loonies rather than trying to address our distinct and diverging political and social values then meh, who cares anymore? maybe if i had more time.

  11. Must be referring to the politicians, I reckon.

Can't be me - I'm a ghost, here to haunt you all......

  12. I asked for the answer fin because you posted a video where the almost entirety of it placed brexit down to English nationalism. I couldn't ask duke as he didn't post that video and he's probably still busy talking to people who know people.

What was your reasoning for posting a video claiming to be brexit was due to english nationalism and the want for the colonies part deux?

  13. i thought he would offer some opinion that didn't start with, but fisherman or the motor industry. bla bla bla, brexit means brexit, bla bla bla.
tell me why you think i posted it, it will give us just a lil more proof, if it was ever needed on what motivates yerself.
are you that much of a snowflake that you cant take a bit of insightful critique presented in a respectful manner?

  14. History would suggest that you are more likely to post a video based on the remain side with a nationalist twist and this one was no different other than having a debate between an American and a southern Irish speaker, at a conference in the states between parties who do not live in the U.K. and didn't even vote

are you that much of a snowflake that you cant take a bit of insightful critique presented in a respectful manner?

    Fin quick quiz for you,
    (1) who has said almost every time when a differing view has been raised, Sure, happy to read or watch anything you want to put up

    and who has said,
    (2) I ain't reading that as it's msm pish, I ain't reading that till it's archived, that's just pish so I aint reading it

Now if we had a forum vote, which one do you think your name would be linked too 1 or 2, and which one do you think I would be linked to, 1 or 2

    Don't be coy now :D

  16. Been of the opinion for some years we should give Wales Scotland and NI full independence with all the financial implications that brings . One benefit would be we wouldn't have to listen to that winging Scottish bint and jimmy Cranky look alike Nicola Sturgeon

  17. haha in ten min i could find several posts from yerself bradly, about how the English have been forgotten, in ten minutes more i could find posts where i agree with you.
however i have argued when yer throwing yer accusations of vile nationalist around that brexit has partly come about due to promotion of a form of British nationalism by yer actual press, and much of the tory party, formally known as ukip.
hmm, yer still paying for us? hmm, looking at yer location, i say your the scrounger, s/e and London closely followed by Scotland pays for the Entire UK
here, in the most simplest of forms, using the rather dodgy collection of stats methodolgy, 25 out of the 26 figures used (GERS) are estimates discredited by all impartial accountants and specifically set up in such a way to undermine the devolved nations notions of independence by the conservatives in 1991.

The £15b black hole pays for Nuclear Weapons; “punching above our weight around the world”; wars in places that we have no business to be; ridiculous cost of doing up Westminster and the running of the Commons, Whitehall civil servants and Lords (which care not a whit about Scotland and spend most of their working/drinking time on English matters); royal weddings, funerals and general upkeep of princes, princesses and palaces; infrastructure projects like Cross Rail, London Sewers, HS2, etc, etc. (Feel free to add to these things that the Brits let us pay for.)
