British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  4. No hypotheticals at all on the deal fin. If Scotland had voted for independence and this deal was offered to the Scots from the U.K. government, you as a Scot, would you accept it?

    If yes, why
    If no, why

  5. You want me to take this one, finderman?

  10. Oh. In that case, do your own dirty work and answer the noob. Ya lazy socialist.

  11. From previous discussions fin, and when you avoid questions it normally means you know someone else is right and refuse to publicly agree with it. So I'm going to say that you as a Scot, should you get indi and this deal was offered to Scots, you would not take it.

  12. My fingers crossed that:
    1. This deal or just exit is proposed as a binary choice for the HoP.
    2. A free vote without whips
    3. The decision is simply implemented
    4. We can get on with other stuff!

  13. Merkel this morning has said no more negotiating, the deal is the deal.

  14. Did she goose step as they talked.... with Macron dressed remarkably Italian-like at her side

  16. Hardly the same one fin, it's the first time I had asked you that question, still hopeful of a meaningful reply though

  17. Not sure if I am angry at finderman for triggering noob, or at noob for triggering finderman.
Actually, not sure I am angry at all. Listening to Budgie at the moment, it's good stuff.

  18. There will be no free vote in Parliament. It will be a back me or sack me option.

I wonder if anyone would want option two even within the Tory party, aside from a few insidious wealthy Multi millionaires that is. They would have to be the ones to sort the ensuing shitstorm.
