British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  4. So the EU have said that the deal is done and will be agreed by the weekend. The PM just needs to sign on the dotted line. If it were that simple.

  5. Northern Ireland business leaders are meeting the PM to support the PM's deal. So says the BBC. I don't think we know what's happening here or what we want.

  6. "We are all going to diiiie!"

  7. No, Al.

    Subjugation first!

  10. Looks a near certainty that our control of UK waters will be lost in the trade deal negotiation:

  12. which is what I said, they are looking at a technical question and nothing more, keep up :D

so no illegality by the U.K. government as you stated yesterday then? good to know :D

I would agree that unless they sought the opportunity within that 24 hour period then they were best to leave it be till a better time.

A no deal brexit will not see a scotland vote nor one that favours scotland leave, no matter what the scottish ukip suggest

Actually, if the scottish ukip have anyone above scottish football level and so far not, then the fisheries if they do sell out the fishermen and women,COULD be the straw that breaks the camels back and could see support rise for indi 2 to a point nic might chance it

  13. You wait - when it comes to the vote for May's deal in Parliament, just watch how many of the Tories chicken out and decide to back her - she will probably just manage to scrape it through.

It won't have been worth all the cost and sodding about that it has taken - might just as well have not had the referendum in the first place.

  14. I don't know.

If the UK gets pulled back into being a full-member of the EU, as appears to be the plan, at least we all know the UK parties are no longer worth voting for and we should concentrate purely on the MEP elections ...

Nah, just kidding. It is proof that we need not vote again in any elections and we can just get on with our lives, for as long as we are allowed.

  15. yip, thats the opposit from what you said. stop lying. they are testing the message that you and yours are promoting for fear of it gaining traction. attempting to hamstring a potential new gov? v,noble.

had the court over ruled the scottish courts desicion it would of been a move contrary to the Act of union. ie illeagal.

  16. I can't remember the last time I thought any party was worth voting for.
Perhaps the answer is to make sure no one turns up to vote or take a leaf out of Americas book and vote in a non-politician ?

  18. Certainly I'd like to see "non of the above" as a legal option on ballot papers once brexit has been dealt with

  19. and count them too, am I right in thinking that currently 'spoilt' papers are just ignored, it would be interesting to know how many people think no party is worth their vote
