British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Doesn't look like a very bright future to me. Companies discussing redundancy, John Lewis saying the falling value of the pound is a real threat to their profitability.

It's not a future I want to be a part of.

Much more interested in making the world great rather than just England.

  2. do you honestly believe that or are you trying to wind him up?

(im not taking the piss, im genuinely interested)

  3. :Wideyed:

Winding him up, but I do genuinely feel if the country 'got behind itself' it was more than definitely to right decision for the future. I cannot understand the undemocratic protest marches (they were not discussing anything - simply trying to overturn a democratic decision - pathetic) from the so called loosing side and the negativity portrayed on the BBC and other media. Tell me, why can't coming out of the EU mean a better future. They are not going to slam a 10% tariff on our cars - if they do then that will be a win financially for the UK. So lesser goods tariffs currently bestowed on the likes of America which are only circa 2.7% will be bundled in with the deal.
It just needs firm leadership (which is where all your gripes should be at the moment) not at the fact that the country democratically votes out.

Hope that clears that one up :upyeah:

  4. So, BBC news at 6. A German company is looking to do a deal with Tata Steel for Port Talbot steelworks - how strange, and not a mention of 'despite Brexit' which you would have thought may have been mentioned in the current doom and gloom properganda climate. :)

  5. I suspect there may be a slight lessening in the intensity of "Project Fear II-Let's make sure Leadsom doesn't get the keys to No.10".
Especially if the Biased Broadcasting Corporation have been told that Facebook/etc is glowing red-hot with anti-media posts.
Only one lukewarm story about a consumer confidence poll tonight.
And I wouldn't be surprised,(if Leadsom becomes PM),of a public backlash directed at the BBC.

  6. Feel free to leave. No one is stopping you.

  7. I was very disappointed with Andrew Neil the other day, he is someone I normally rate highly, taking some very cheap shots at Andrea Leadsom in his closing comments.

  8. This confuses me, Brexit is targeting a non biased global trading future, quite the opposite of the EU protective trading network. Does your post mean you agree with us now :upyeah:
I must say, it took you a while to realise ;)

  9. That's on the plan.

  10. Brexit is the British elite taking control. Nothing else.

  11. Were they ever out of control ?

  12. No.

But many would have you believe otherwise.

There is more out there than doom and gloom

Even corporation tax has come down

Blimey come on people are you going to just stand there moan and watch as your led to believe that your country is dead

We may just lead the way to change in the EU in a good way
