British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. My point was, 120,000 houses being built every year when we have immigration figures of around 250,000+ every year, it will never add up.

  2. The thing about that nonsense letter fin is, it's from no one who is in the U.K., she left it so long ago that even her 4th and youngest child is already at uni, in the U.K.

What you can say about that letter, if true as you've yet to reveal its source, is a german lady who left the uk many years ago is so angry that her kids go to another country just to avoid her nonsense.

  15. Somewhat ironic that successive governments failing to plan to accommodate the effects of immigration becomes a major factor in Brexit and then their departure means fewer people to actually build houses.

Is it any surprise that the socialist bastion of planning, which could have averted this mess has facilitated the rise of the far right.

Failure in planning of public services buildings
Failure in planning for public services staff
Failure in planning to have a sufficiently skilled indigenous workforce

  19. plus also weak councils who allow opportunist developers to renage or reduce the social housing percentage they initially promised or how they promise employment in that development as well as housing but they then sit on the land rather than build on it.
