British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. well, what she could do is give the one country that got neither want it wants or what it needs, all the others got at least one of those two options, give us what was presented to may in December 2016 but was impossible until last week, but for another country. there's at least one group of agitators taken care of.

  4. El Tel may merge, but thought it was worth stating alone and outside of the long thread. As a reminder, this was the choice (for the hard of memory and hard of thinking alike)

  10. Great point well made. However, about the same as a Remain option isf a second vote takes place ;)

  11. want they want is a prosperous country to trade with, so, for purely selfish reasons they think it would be a good idea for the whole of the UK to stay in the EU, failing that the least damaging option of the customs union and single market.

  12. We'll always be a prosperous country fin, I have no doubt on that.

The fact there are 195 countries in the world and only 28 are in the eu, meaning that 167 do it without the eu, means it's okay not to be IN the eu whilst dealing with the eu.

  15. I knew I shouldn't have gone out for a beer with Diane :D

Interesting thing, or maybe not :eyes:, Tonight in an interview whilst in Buenos Aires G20 meeting,May again was asked about a plan B as the numbers don't look good for on the 11th, she babbled a bit but like a Glaswegian talking fast, you heard something in the middle that stood out. She said, jibber jabber jibber jabber, In march we will be taking our seat at the wto table, jibber jabber jibber jabber.

Now that could mean in her head she knows we are going to wto/free trade OR she is convinced of her deal and see's us having an ability to freestyler stylee with wto deals from March. Seemed an odd thing to say given she must have known it would have been picked up upon.

  16. No matter what political party any of us prefer/support/want we are faced with a situation.
The infighting idiots in Westminster can’t seem to reach a concencus, furthermore they don’t seem to want to, even for the good of the country. Meanwhile the real people of the country are suffering and will suffer more with this indecision.

WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD DO NOW? Cast your vote.

    1. Take the deal and move on.

    2. Stay in the EU and face the consequences.

    3. Crash out and face the consequences.

El Toro, can you change this to display the votes please.
