British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. May once claimed to be a remainer but then so was Johnson before he calculated he'd be politically better off on the leave side. No one knows what any of them truly believe and what their real agenda is. Can't trust any of them.
    WYSIWYG does not apply

  2. Probably will always carry on like that.

They wonder why younger people don’t vote.

  3. forage was on question time over thirty times during the lead up to the vote and since, how often do you see the third party represented?
BBC shortbread has now come to the notice of various lords, and privous Members of the board of directors regarding their pro tory and poor coverage of the brexit debate up here. (for obvious reasons)
brexit was supported by over 80% of the uk's dead tree scrolls in terms of readership. just three quick examples of pro tory/kipper media bias..
honestly bud. get out more, comment less. :upyeah:

  4. No longer watch the news. No longer listen to the radio in the car. CBA with it all.

Which is exactly what the remoaners, political elite and MSM want

  5. Yes, whatever happened to the Lib Dems, who is their current leader?? Is it Vince Cable??
Supporting the Tories gave them a brief moment of glory but at what cost??

  6. Finm, genuinely and very sincerely, I haven't a fucking clue what you're on about bud.

I've thrown no insults your way, so if you think I have then perhaps you're not as thick skinned as I thought and I've somehow typed something in a white font unreadable to the naked eye?

Also from what I can make out I've not left any thrown my way unresponded either, unless of course I couldn't decipher them, which given some of the slang used it's entirely plausible.

In my opinion, Scottish independence and whether Ireland wants to destroy itself with religious and non religious infighting is entirely seperate to Brexit.

If Scotland wants to be independent that's cool with me, maybe you'll get another shot in the future, or maybe you won't

Ps- I have nothing to do with the car industry, never have so maybe you're aiming that at someone else

  9. The "and" fin was that some in the remain constantly say no one was told we would leave the single market and the customs union if we voted to leave and yet, here we have by the government who promoted remain, mention of leaving the single market. I could list shedloads of very senior figures on all sides of the remain and leave who made it very clear what the situation was.

  10. Radical thought (?)

350m a week goes to Brussels.

Give every household 1m the. Divvy thebfest out to those farmers, universities etc that will have funding cut.

Bet we still end up in profit

  11. Yikes, there are some deluded folk in this thread. Much silliness. A lot of re-imagined history. Bonkers.

It's no place for the rational and the grounded, like me : o )

Have a word with yourselves and let me know when the drugs have worn off.

  12. Did you see Fin's posting of the video of forage etc??

  13. The 350 was a gross, not net figure.
Interesting that the lie still persists though

  14. What if the UK leaving the EU, all things considered, is currently impossible?

We may well find out today from the AG whether it is or isn’t.

  15. What, no cliff for the lemmings to jump off - that's unthinkable...

  16. Exactly. Read it again.

  17. That would be very worrying. And prove what a bad thing the EU is ?

  20. No. The issue is, or rather may be, the UK’s duties & obligations in respect of the GFA and the NI / RofI relationship. NI is part of the UK.

It is not the EU’s issue. It is a UK issue.
