On a lighter note our new Prime Minister appears to be married to Harold Lloyd. I wonder if he does his own stunts..?
Think for yourself, bradders and not what you think others are expecting of you. Its your life and no one elses. I've changed my style of glasses many times.
excellent reply Wally, for those who are more familiar with simplistic solutions to complex situations,,, good on yer...
As a business leader under Brexit how will you behave and why do you think others will not do the same as you ?
I'd wager you havent. What you have done is refocus them. At points of stress and indicision, you will fall back to the old specs, and find yourself becoming your paresnt (assuming you knew them, if not a key carer) While we can develop, this normally allows us to choose elements of our responses, and recognise auto-responses that will not get the desired outcome, and behave differently. But it is all against that baseline 'map' that we have from very young. Its why some of us have a chip the size of a mccain factory on our shoulder. We dont want to admit we are like that, or that we have no control, but we are and we dont. Anything else is denial. It is also why much of the older generation have a fear of 'foreigners'. Not something I think will worry the next at all.
Which is why the Jesuits said "give us the child up to age 7 and we will have them for the rest of their life".
That will not be a bad thing for the fishing industry. We need to manage the stock, but, IMHO, one of the most difficult things about the EU is the way that the (particularly) Scottish fishing industry has been impacted. Communities that grew up around the boats have seen their economies blighted by the Common Fisheries Policy. I can only see good things coming from Brexit for these communities. A relaxation of what the fishermen can catch and keep and more fisheries protection vessels being based in local ports can only be good for them.
I'd rather see the govt plough cash into rebuilding the fishing industry around the coast of Wales than a new race track. Or another to replace it.
how will i behave? badly. as always. :Hilarious:. me, a business leader?. again :Hilarious:. dude. i employ several people. i could easily expand if i could get the staff. how will i behave. hmm. by promoting the advantages of self determination while shinning a light on the failures and direction of travel for Westminster. why do i think others wont do the same? cos i will feckin tell em thats why . but seriously, it will depend on the brexit negotiations and what the negotiate away. ie fishing. you seen the voting analysis. but what i doubt you have seen is the positive vibes we are getting from the remaining EU members. but as i said earlier we could just be being used as a pawn.by both the EU and or westminster. time will tell.
At times if stress I have learned to do the opposite. The things I learned from my parents just don't work in my life. I even tried to make my mother view things differently, for her own sake as again the rules she has lived by for many years are not appropriate to her current circumstances.
What I have seen is stories being spun to support a given argument but that does not mean they are an accurate representation of the truth. Also, within the EU, there are so many bodies with Presidents, all with different opinions, saying different things to different people it is almost impossible to work out what is really going on. We, the pawns, are being constantly manipulated by those in power for their own ends.
The U.K. Is no different in that sense though. Watch workers rights and workers benefits be diminished over the next few years as the government use Brexit as a means to explain why you and I have to pay for it. Just as they have with austerity.
aint that the truth j.v. i have seen recently speedos's mate talk (Michelle Mone) i have seen EBBC + shortbreads version along with most of the press's (tory) versions. you have to trust somebody. knowing some of the contributors and their positions i have to trust the likes of wings and co. they provide verifiable links. the press just provide unverifiable vile quotes. often combined with a platform for...em.....comments.
Interesting opportunity as France/Spain account for the majority of demand for fish/seafood. Large proportion of UK population has a part to play in this - they need to stop stuffing their faces with deep fried mars bars and Macky D's and start eating what comes naturally from the seas that surround us....don't hold yer breath!
