  1. I think the weight is quite a big part of it. Probably the amount you said too
     
  2. be interesting to se what they can strip it too, or how different the mine eight is. Now off to look up the TO rules for min weight....
     
  3. Quite a useful guide :) 15kg bike but in SSport they have bike/rider min weight too

    Ducati:

    SSport:
    Supersport - Over 400cc up to 600cc 4-stroke 4 cylinders, over 600cc up to 636cc 4-stroke 4 cylinders, over 500cc up to 675cc 4-stroke 3 cylinders and over 600cc up to 750cc 4-stroke 2 cylinders

    Separate GP2 Cup class for prototype Moto2 machines or non-homologated chassis speci cations and technology. Over 400cc up to 600cc 4-stroke 4 cylinder and over 500cc up to 675cc 4-stroke 3 cylinder

    Riders must be 16 years of age or older Minimum weight of 161kg (Supersport). 222kg (combined with rider) for GP2. Pirelli control tyre, 6 rear and 5 front per meeting allowed (dry). 4/4 for GP2

  5. Lots of interesting stuff happening this weekend in Supersport, Josh Day running his V2 in it, the ABM 765 running (although it’s been out there in various guises before and I think it’s the same frame etc as the spirit moto)…

    also…. I wasn’t correct with British Supersport/Oli Baylis tie up but looks like it might happen in world Supersport
