John Reynolds lives near me, but I've never met him. The last time I saw him was when I was out on my GT1000 & he was out on a GSXR (not sure which). He was riding very differently on the road compared to his performance on track. Very safe & sensible whilst making progress, a good ambassador for biking.
When I lived up north Carlos Checa lived about two miles from me and he was much the same as Reynolds. Nice guy too. I never quite understood why he lived there.
Plenty of GP racers seem to live around here: Stoner (though I assume he will be moving if he hasn't already), Gibernau (maybe ditto now) to mention a couple. Not sure if Pedrosa doesn't live around here too and I know there are others but can't remember who. Schumacher is about 2 miles away from where I am typing this. His lakeside gaff is apparently considerable and furnished in the most hideous nouveau riche taste. Stoner bought his Mac from a friend of mine. He should have come here (the Swiss French MotoGP commentator is a frequent customer here. I try to extract the latest paddock gossip from him).
