Congrats on the new bike, I got to ride the local canyons on a friends and its a great bike. I ended up going for the Tuono but I believe the Beemer is right there.
It did. Have just been on the phone to my insurance company, me and the guy had a good chat about bike theft and security. He has had 3 bikes today alone stolen in London that he has to deal with. He also said June 15-June 16 there were 5000 approx bikes stolen (not sure if London alone), from 16-17 the figure has risen to 16,000. Over tripled. 2 of those are mine
It ended up costing me £650 for a weeks ownership, £216 per ride, plus whatever my premium will now increase by.
This isn’t going to end, unless the cops start taking extreme measures against the culprits. Really sorry for your loss man, this really sucks!
