  5. Yeah Cherod - I've thought about this - the thing is the market place outside the UK is not moving very fast with regards to 2nd hand bikes and new ones - evenused 1199 S Pans' are dirt cheap around the EU circa £9k.

So if all the paper work adds up, receipts etc, VIN, reg Doc etc then I'd go for it... Yes if someone else comes along - well, then it was not meant to be - I hate that expression - but it helps me not worry about loosing out...

Cheers guys - I think I know I want it even more now. Blinkin' 2 week wait is gonna drag for sure... :Arghh::Arghh::mad::mad:

  6. The strong pound to Euro skews it quite a bit too :)

  8. Yup - I'm in Zurich so Swiss Francs - £1 = CHF 1.50 it was 1.43/4 the other day... Then the CHF 1.00 to = € 0.96 - so yes the bike will cost me more in CHF. But i still think in UK £'s - Born a Southerner. Kentish lad.

  9. Oh and I've got the Seller to also pay for the Termis to be taken off and the Original Stock pipes put back on and also Swap the Mono Set Up back to the Biposto Sub Frame & Seat for the Swiss MOT - Saves me a bit there as well... Labour Costs here are Sky High - on average. 3x times UK prices... in every aspect...

  10. You won't be putting them back on then ;) PM me and we'll work on a deal :D

  12. again,, i am no expert,,, but, i changed from Mono over to a Bi P the other day, it took me less than an hour and that was my first time, so not v difficult,, also i had my full 54 Termis off throo the winter , just for polishing , and again it was not difficult to do.

  13. TBH cherod it was more to do with the issue here - legally you are not allowed to perform any mechanical work on vehicles either on the public roads or private landlords property and car parks (summit to do with Insurance, Liability etc ;-) - you have to hire a Garage Booth and remember to take all the right tools - And I;m not a Tool person... I'll have to invest over time.

  14. So before I slope off to get some shut eye - please dont forget if you have any Options on Closed Clutch Covers - I'd be interested to her your thoughts, recommendations - other than the Ducati Performance Part Carbon - Like I posted a pic of above...

Cheers all - Have a good weekend riding...
