Unsurprising as it is one of the components delaying the delivery of the Speciale. Just to let you know, the full race system comes with an ECU download through the dealer not an Upmap key. Word on the street is that Akrapovic are supplying 1 unique activation key per exhaust, as I’m told they did with the Aprillia RSV4 full race system. If true, I don’t know how this would affect your target audience if you decided to sell just the exhaust at a later date. Might be a good idea to ask your dealer if they know anything about it. Andy

With the RSV4 you get a race ECU that replaces the original, they’re a part you can order about £250 IIRC.

Be interested to know if Ducati sell the race systems in the USA.

Was invited to the Speed Triple launch at the Triumph factory the other day.

Triumph will no longer supply accessory exhausts that are not road legal due to issues in the USA when Harley were taken to court for doing the same with their Screaming Eagle exhausts.
