Discussion in 'Trackdays & Rider Skills' started by ministry, Mar 11, 2012.

  1. Forecast is for wall to wall sunshine and 25 degress - although not at Cadwell tomorow obviously - I wish !! Wonder if they willl let me go round in a shower suit !

  2. Have a good one lads,hope it's dry.

  3. Had a cracking day there today, some dry sessions, but some very wet!!!

I loved the track and will make sure I go back soon.

  4. Excellent,glad you had a good day,any pictures?

  5. Yeah thought it was going to be a wash out but it turned out to be a fantastic day! Really love Cadwell. It was a shame that more Dukes weren't there compared to a few years ago with the DSC lot though.

  6. Not such a good day for me ! Enjoyed the dry-ish sessions, but ended up coming home in a van ! Gearbox locked up just after lunch, chain jumped off rear sprocket - lucky not to have an off. Engine runs, gearbox turns, but gear selector shaft locked solid - I can feel a full strip coming just around the corner !

  7. Ouch! Glad you got home anyway Dave, nice to meet you.

  8. This was the DSC day too, so thats yer lot lol

  9. Yeah I saw the van but it was more MSV and DSC this year mate.... (I've never been a member anyway)

It would be good to have a better showing another year though. There seems to be more dukes on the road than ever these days!

  10. Not too long ago, maybe 3 years?? There were a hundred plus Ducatis every year for the event, and that was 2 days not 1.

The only trackdays I did, as it was always safer, more of a laugh

  11. Glad you got back OK Dave, did you drive the van or ride the other fellas bike? Lucky he was going your way.

Good to meet you... I'm having to go back soon to work on those lines ;-)

  12. Cheers Ministry, got to ride his SR4 back - just a pity I had to take it steady so I could lead Paul back to my place ( souunds a bit strange !) but great guy and nice bike !
