Oh, mine does not have any rubber boots over the chrome fork sections - I will have a look at the manual ??
650 did as standard Dave unlike later E750 but were available as an extra. My Orange 750 had them but it had covered some rough miles from evidence found and so was a sensible mod back then.
Rear Brake Disc ?? Hi Guys, anyone know where I can get a new rear disc for my 1996 750 Elefant ? I cant find one in the normal places, and Mdinitalia quote a four week lead time. Front discs are available on ebay, and I have got some titanium disc bolts - fwaaaaa !! They are for a Kwaka, and I am having to cut a bit of the ends - seem a shame when they are £3 each  !!
Dave, Can't answer I'm afraid but I've had some great, quick responses on the elefant Facebook page. Some very knowledgable guys on there. The google group is another great hive of information but I get a weird "vibe" from it. Hard to put my finger on.
Cagiva E 750 Elefant 93-95 Parts at Wemoto - The UK's No.1 On-Line Motorcycle Parts Retailer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAGIVA-75...75?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2c6883e20f
Cheers Chris, how do you do it ?? !! I did search the Wemoto site, and looked on Ebay, but obviosuly not very well !! Many Thanks !! Coils and leads now cleaned, carbs are back on, engine straps polished up nicely. She is nearly ready for an engine spin to get oil around before the plugs go back in. I will add some photos when she is almost decent ! Thanks again, cheers dp
Hi Ozz, I'm looking forward to getting it back on the road. It's an interesting project. There was a red one for sale in Poole for about £800 before Christmas on Gumtree.
If you buy it (for about £500 at my guess) drop me a line, that clutch can be sorted very cheap. I know as mine have up on the M4 200 miles from home at 23:00!
Not in a position at the moment to get one due to commitments and garage space but maybe at some point....
I brought a complete dog for about £500 on eBay. My guess is another £1500 to get it how I want. I'm rebuilding with the intention of taking it off road so not bothered too much about looks.
