Redding IMO has the talent to run with the big boys, he's our best shot but it's no good if he keeps getting short changed.
I found Stoner somewhat annoying, the way he always said "we" in interviews instead of "I". But the point was made that he was a team player - just at the pointy end of the team. And that has to be respected. As Cal slags off the Ducati, he is behaving in exactly the opposite way. It implies that he is not part of a team but a rider whose chances of winning are spoiled by the substandard work of those working with (for) him. This is extremely unprofessional and it endears him to no one. Iannone consistently out-qualifies him and produces better race results. Normally, until you are beating your team-mates consistently on the same equipment, you keep quiet. And a real professional keeps quiet whatever his team-mates are doing. I am happy we have a top Brit in MotoGP (finally). It's just a pity that he's not as talented in his communication with the press as he is on two wheels. The best thing he can do is maintain a low profile for the time being.
Seems they may move to the 3 rider factory team model Crash.Net | F1 & MotoGP | Motorsport News Ultimately 2015 is going to be the best thing for all of them as it's a brand new bike and they'll all have the same experience riding it. Hopefully Cal won't be coming across the line 3rd out of them all the time, if he does then I suspect 2016 will be a two man team again
Here's a nice little update on silly season. Looks like we could have a few new faces next year and Redding should get the proper honda off Bautista Silly Season Update - Ducati Confirmed, Suzuki Announcement Imminent, And Will Aprilia Be Back Sooner? | MotoMatters.com | Kropotkin Thinks
surprised there is no news of a Lorenzo renewal - would of though they would of got that nipped in the bud by now.. after all the testing stoner did for HRC its a crying shame he did not do a wildcard race that would of been great
don't know why people slag stonner off , hes mint puts up with no bullshit talks the talk but does the walk, unlike cruthchless
he had health issues and still came back to winning ways more than cal will ever do , and why not get out if you feel the times right ,new daughter, millions in the bank, don't forget he came here with his dad and travelled circuits in the back of a transit for years , imagine being on the road for 10 years or 15 most would be fed up, the best rider ever .and most still say inc spies ,,, stonner is one of the only people hes followed and thought how the fk did he do that ,COME ON STONNER
why? who feels sorry? nothing mentioned about that just sick of seeing people slag probably the most natural talent on a bike along with marquez as well ,but that's this country isn't it Britain loves a looser ,not a winner, tell you what rossi couldn't do fk all with the ducati stonner won the championship ,guess it was luck ehh ,
Pedrosa has had a full works Honda built around him for like fifty years, and he has singularly failed to come up with the goods. It's about time he was sacked.
Allegedly Honda love Perdrosa. They believe him to be the best rider to give feedback on the bikes performance out there. That's why they persevere with him.
