  4. It might be like a modern Ducati, and you need to book it into the dealers for that screw to be reinstalled.

And yet another post about gammons……..

What a world we live in today

  5. This is starting to bug me!

If I’m reading your posts and the manual correctly, the valve needs to be able to move up and down and the screw under the lid appears to be knurled(?), so as long as the valve can move freely, I’d say finger tight.

You’re right though, it’s not very well written.

  6. Well no ..... but yeah ..... but no ....

If it won't cook under pressure , it's a bit like chucking out the baby with the bathwater ....
    .... innit , as such .

All you are left with is a casserole !
And you lose all of that delicious energy saving .... not to mention flavour !
    :D

..... but just my two Mongos worth .

  7. The screw as Chris said should be finger tight

  8. Errrr, cough cough!

  15. So @Ducbird its been a couple of months. Is an air fryer the new 916SP or not?

Are you enjoying better food, that is cooked faster, for less cash spent on energy?

  17. It's definitely a game changer in my kitchen now that I have got used to it and tweaked my own recipes to suit it.
The food tastes lovely as it's not boiled to death and retains all the flavours I like it the kids haven't been sure but like most of my recipes
Apparently you can cook bread and cake in it that's next on my list
I made a salmon meal for myself in it as my kids don't do fish with broccoli and carrots
It's steamed with lemon juice which enhances the taste of it all
    Takes 20 mins
