It might be like a modern Ducati, and you need to book it into the dealers for that screw to be reinstalled. And yet another post about gammons…….. What a world we live in today
This is starting to bug me! If I’m reading your posts and the manual correctly, the valve needs to be able to move up and down and the screw under the lid appears to be knurled(?), so as long as the valve can move freely, I’d say finger tight. You’re right though, it’s not very well written.
Well no ..... but yeah ..... but no .... If it won't cook under pressure , it's a bit like chucking out the baby with the bathwater .... .... innit , as such . All you are left with is a casserole ! And you lose all of that delicious energy saving .... not to mention flavour ! ..... but just my two Mongos worth .
Getting to grips with the cooker First meal was a disaster Second was a tikka masala which turned out ok Third tonight's was tasty after adapting the recipe a little
So @Ducbird its been a couple of months. Is an air fryer the new 916SP or not? Are you enjoying better food, that is cooked faster, for less cash spent on energy?
Well @Jez900ie its a pressure multi cooker and I have got to grips and posted in the whats for dindins thread as I forgot about this one
It's definitely a game changer in my kitchen now that I have got used to it and tweaked my own recipes to suit it. The food tastes lovely as it's not boiled to death and retains all the flavours I like it the kids haven't been sure but like most of my recipes Apparently you can cook bread and cake in it that's next on my list I made a salmon meal for myself in it as my kids don't do fish with broccoli and carrots It's steamed with lemon juice which enhances the taste of it all Takes 20 mins
