LOL!! Maybe I can get a 749 or something... I'm currently barely hanging on to my relationship, seeing as the R6 was a 'surprise'. So I am not going to be even using the B word at home, let alone trying to bring in a second!
I did that with the R6 and nearly got my foot bitten off, so it might not be a good idea to do it again... ... although having said that, no missus and no kids = unlimited riding time, uninterrupted motogp, WSB and BSB watching, more money, less expense, no drama and more freedom... I'll have a think
I had one last year for about 3 months - I got rid of it as soon as I could for a variety of reasons. It was my mates until I lobbed it down the road then it became mine by default loosing me my KTM660 - bummer. At that point id never had a 600 before and I never will again. Most of all was it was categorically the most uncomfortable bike ive ever ridden. Ill leave it at that.
Fraid you wont have more money, you'd likely have even less once the lawyers start to bite. You're better off doing a Reggie Perrin.
R1 was the best bike i ever had ...but this looks bit lighweight fun for about 50 miles then a tad uncomfy i believe
Get it on track and wring its neck! Its addictive chasing the stratospheric redline on a well sorted 600
You won't go wrong with that - if you have the body for it (flexible) .... Yamaha don't understand or do 'breakdowns'.
I had an R6 in exactly the same colour and probably year for the grand total of 2 weeks i thought (wrongly) that I'd like it as a change and I'd progress better on track than going for another R1..... Unfortunately my mates showed me the error of my ways at Silverstone and then Donington dont get me wrong, they're razor sharp handling and I'm sure if ridden 'differently' faster than I managed to get from one, but they're not exactly full of torque and for a big bloke like me that's no good. however I do have a full side fairing in perfect condition in the same colour scheme upstairs in the loft, yours for a reasonable fee if you fancy a spare
Just the one panel? It's a 2008 MY so 13S1 model. I'm hoping it will be as much fun as my old zxr400 but faster. That bike had nothing lower down but when you got it on song it was a dream to ride. All screaming revs and corner speed. As for body shape, I'm 74kg and 5'11''. All shoulders and no waist, so I reckon it'll shift. I've ridden an original model R6 so if it's anything like that it'll be plenty of fun.
His nephew is in the Navy (worked with the army) I worked with him for a while and he was a complete c**t. I've never met someone I disliked so much or found it so hard to work with. He kept the news about his uncle quiet too, I didn't find out until after I'd moved on to a new team.
