On the reply/post menu there is a blue key at the top left marked- a/A which switches between source mode and wysiwyg mode, this seems to enable the return key, at least for that session.
Not a permanant fix but it will return some of the functionality.
I had this same problem a while back with a windows 8 laptop running IE10.

Solved all of these issues by taking it back to the shop and buying a Mac.:wink:

as you say not a permanent fix but a simple mouse click non the less.

 

Remind me again: why does anyone use IE?

 

I use IE at work and Chrome at home. Don't really have any feeling about either as both do what they say on the tin

Interesting thread... I just assumed it was I was using work's rubbish, old, slow computer system... Maybe not...
