  1. The fact an fso was seen as a replacement shows how bad they were. No Mercedes owner ever thought "mmmmm, a nice polonez, that's what I'll have next"

    My aunt and uncle had a skoda super Estel when dad had the maxi, I always thought the skoda looked much nicer than our wonky old maxi

    I would suggest bl cars were not significantly better than eastern bloc offerings.

  2. My first steed was a Dolomite sprint - with overdrive closely followed by a spitfire - mmm still look tasty today

    Bl**dy hell...........bl**dy lethal (them; Heralds; Vitesse and GT6).......talk about 'clicking heels' when they were pushed a bit in a corner.........

    ...........I got rid of mine pretty quick (and it was green).........dangerous cars.

  4. agreed - the front wheel fell off mine , it was left hand drive to :upyeah:
