Carbon Dipping

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by welderman, Mar 23, 2013.

  1. Wow , I went to the multistrada forum and got interested in the carbon coated parts especially the aluminium belly pan sump guard ,
like many mutely owners I have a one bike garage and want a do it all bike,
my riding is mainly off main roads but still Tarmac ,I have added the exhaust guard
As the gravel mud and stuff are not going to do carbon any good,
it's insured as a standard bike with a few extras, I ride slow technical roads so speed isn't important , and non skyhook it's the lightest adventure bike around,
I am sure many will agree ducati make a great bike and the recent stuff is a far cry from years ago so there is little that needs changing ,
so the fake but much more durable non carbon for me has a place on a mutely ,
Oh and I won't have half a bike stored somewhere,
I do respect and admire bikers who make some excellent one off specials,
sadly the reasons for faster lighter and classic/ retro don't apply to a multistrada,
Applying the typical Ducati elitism from the past to people from the present
who are buying the bike that in the documentary saved the company ,
is misplaced and short sighted ,
Now does any one know of a company in the north Lincolnshire Humber bridge area
    Forest

  2. Yell.com shows a place in Sheffield as the nearest to Humber Bridge
