Carbon Wheels

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Gimlet, Aug 14, 2015.

  1. I agree the wheels sound like a massive difference, for me, I think I'll go OZ Forged Ally Piega's but I also weighed the stock exhaust, 7.5KG!! That's not exactly light! I can't imagine the Termi's being more than 3?

  2. Yeah if you smash a tank hard enough it'll end up in pieces too

  3. And I have seen March, ruined by potholes..

  4. mine are here but being the massive nob I am, I've bought the wrong rotors for the fronts . . . . . . I dont want to put the old rotors on as ive bought new brake calipers and pads too so will wait for the correct fitment race tech rotors to arrive . . . .

  5. Exactly!

All this faggotry against carbon wheels is laughable really.

Probably think photos steal their souls too.

  6. having been a dufus and bought the wrong rotors and now being let down by by the next place I had to change tyres as mine where borderline legal so got them to put the BST's on with the old rotors for the time being.

  7. Just done tour of Northern Spain and Portugal on Multi with BST s fitted.Absolutely fantastic .Bike changes direction much quicker and accelerates better too. Was really unsure about cost v improvement and whether to get them but now completely sold on them

  8. nodrog; Did you buy new or 2nds?

  9. They were new , highly recommended mate

  10. I have them on three of my bikes ...
D16RR - BSTs ... The easiest and cheapest way to a 17" rear
    996SPS - Dymags ... Make turn-in much easier
990 SuperDuke - Dymags ... They make an already lively bike utterly bonkers!
