Mopeds are those 50cc piles of junk with pedals you wankers used to drool over when you were 18. Meanwhile I was riding a GP200 registered as a 125 looking suave and sophisticated whilst I was pushing the damned thing after it broke down (most of the time)

 

Bit like those that were riding ‘restricted’ (they weren’t) R1’s at 18 year old

 

Totally agree, for years I wouldn't tinker with any ECU/injection motors, but if you can overcome the fear they are still accessible to home spannering.

 

At 15 and a bit, the teenager didn't want anything to do with mopeds / motorbikes at all but was interested in cars

2 years later he still has the moped he had at 16 (cbt passed on his birthday, he learnt how to use gears the next day) and now has a Mito as well and is currently trying to get me to buy a 748 to go with the Monster that I have nowhere to put, it's costing me a fortune..! (but if anyone has a cheap yellow 748... )
