Castle Combe Noise Limit

if you go in the wet you (might) get loads of track time...if there's not many people they have been known to do a kinda open pitlane type scenario. still only 12 bikes on track but slightly longer sessions and you just queue up again when you get in.

 

Excuse the lazyness not looking myself but is it 105db ? I thought it was a fair bit less??

 

105db, 1/2m from the exhaust, at 45 degrees at 3/4 throttle. Not the usual 5k rpm

 

Yeh my KTM RC8R with Akra and baffles blew 115 db but he did make me rev it to 8.5k.

 

Guessing u didn't get on track ??

 

No, the old geezer with the db meter turned a funny shade of grey (well it matched his beard) then had a sit down. If you do it and its wet Dave just go careful on the last right into the start finish straight. The start boxes go right round the corner so loads of white paint but theres also a shed load of over banding all round the corner.
