Good race, caught the highlights last night. My thoughts on the Iannone/Lorenzo shunt is that Lorenzo was way off the pace and Iannone didn't realise or expect him to be so slow. Once you're on the anchors like Iannone was, desperately trying to stop it's very very hard to avoid something. Genuine mistake I think but he's not had a good run recently and is getting a bit of a rep for it which won't help him.
Superb race. Great result, keeping the points close with the top 3. Rossi showed his class. Lorenzo....has he got mind problems again? fast as fcuk one day, and not on it at all another. MM. Still rides the bike like a rodeo rider, out of the seat more than in it. But he does seem to have realised he needs to finish races and collect points. Might be his year again with a bit more maturity in his judgement. (just wait till next race when he torpedos Rossi...)
watching another replay now... its a cracker from start to finish.. loz was off the boil with 18 laps to go.
iannone basicly done him a favor..... saved him the embarrassment of finishing mid pack of crashing of his own accord!!!
