Agree you're doing a fantastic job and also looking forward to seeing it finished. And you've done all this whilst I have been trying to build up momentum to sort out a loose handlebar grip on my bike!
Trying to improve where I can... No washer here before but our stainless spend got us a huge array of extra spares... Using stainless split spins also... Oem were pig iron...
Getting there.... Missing a bolt somewhere... Theres a second bolt to secure the footpeg hangers... Meh... It'll turn up...
Cheers....tbh im kinda working on memory...the more i put on the bike the less there is lying around...!
Just about to chuck all the underplastics in the dishwasher (they may as well go on clean) - cant for the life of me find this weird barrel connector that is the adjuster for the rear drum brake so, unless i find that no shakedown tomorrow. Ive been listening to bikes ripping up the wells and bath road all afternoon but after my close call a couple of weeks ago with a camera van i did briefly think to myself "meh - keeps me off the road.." Ive not tackled the wiring loom yet (the adjustment of it) that may be harder than i first thought but im still going to try it...
Yeah - its got a strip down coming soon also (the dishwasher) - every couple of years i pull it to pieces and clean the whole lot out...its 12 years old now and still works brilliantly...
Other half is out.... Thought I'd bring the loom in to extend a live to the front... Gonna take a line from here.. .
