Huuummm I had them take it in November as oil was coming out onto my boot (left) also some oil around the gear box, but they just said No not found anything? So when I booked it in for a service they looked funny that there's a vibration
Is the bike under warranty? Quite frankly any oil leak must be thoroughly investigated, oil is the lifeblood for the engine!
Don't mention the track day and contact ducati UK directly with your dissatisfaction. Ask for the bike to be looked at again at a different dealership. An oil leak is simply unacceptable, and if left unattended could end up with a wrecked engine, and its dangerous slippery stuff getting into tyres etc too. Do remain polite but firm, they cannot refuse to re look at it.
Hi I think it's now related to the vibration I'm getting, I can feel it in the bars and in the foot pegs, Leeds dealership are not customer friendly at all
Just to say on this SDoc all the way....did the chain on my zed last night. I put a rag underneath the section of chain between the back wheel and stand (if you use that area then youre not going to hose down the rest of the bike in the process. Spray, and do a few inches at a time (I use an old bursh used to wash dishes with) and work your way round. Ive got some sdoc chain lube but not used it yet as I'm finishing off an old can of silkolene lube which does fling a bit... To anyone that doesn't really do the chain cleaning thing...once its done and done properly youll find gear changes easier and easier to find neutral also....
