Would you employ a legal counsel whose name you recognise and whom you have seen on the telly? Or one you have never heard of?
heard of harold shipman but i would rather a complete stranger with no qualifications check out me piles. she would be a big no no.but if her allegations are true re previous experience with sexism i can understand her anger. there was a good play on r4 recently on a v.similar vain when i remember the name i will post it up.
She was the fat kid at school who the boys didnt want to take round the bike sheds. That one fat girl with NHS glasses on and unfashionable dress at the school disco who never got to dance with a boy. She has sang slowly and now getting her revenge on the male population. Its took her years to perfect that persona and one day she will seek counselling to resolve her issues.
I just wanna know who did her Linkdin photo. They can make a wheelbarrow look like a Ferrari these days.
Does legal council need a good grasp on reality, surely they only need to understand how to game the system ? I thought her performance was quite good for a beginner, even if I didn't agree with the content. I also suspect she is a fast learner.
This woman lawyer has found a way to give herself a media profile - her name in the papers, interview on Newsnight - without committing any crime, without compromising any client, without quarrelling with any judge, without involving her chambers. Perhaps her grasp on reality is not so tenuous after all.
I suspect that the guy who tried to chat her up has many friends and that she will be persona non grata in many places. I reckon it will all come round to bite her in the bum. She may have a profile, but it's not the sort of profile I'd want in someone I worked with or engaged in a professional capacity. Thing is, she does have a point. It's the way she has gone about things which is, I feel, so out of order. It's not as if the bloke pinched her bum or fondled her boobies. I also find it amusing that these nonentities who gain instant Twitter fame are so surprised when a lot of the comment is negative. That's the web folks: he who lives by Twitter dies by Twitter.
A marketing guy saying there is such a thing as bad publicity :Wideyed: No doubt there will be some negativity from some quarters but it will give her something to take the moral high ground and fight against.
Taking the moral high ground and fighting appears to be what floats her boat. I hope she has fun with it.
Wished I had asked her to dance at the school disco. Things may of been different. Instead I was hypothesised by Joanne Bailey and her big boobies.
I guess a woman will be coming around to unblock my shitty bog the next time it gets blocked, plumb in my washing machine, dig the roads up for major repairs, fix my roof when it leaks, and carry heavy items into the house for me if I'm having a weak day.[/QUOTE] You gotta be joking that's what men are for
