Yeah you need to register with them but it’s straightforward, I’ve been buying from there for a few years now and it’s been fine. Some things are utter rubbish but you just need to do your research, same as eBay.
Steve you should have told me you were ordering, we could have got two and saved on postage, I mean £1.28 between us is a significant saving!!
Chris, sorry about that. Missed opportunity, should have ordered half a dozen and sold them on the forum
I couldn't fit it with the top box rack in place, which is a bit annoying, there just isn't room to get the front straps on.
the lads use Aliexpress all the time and for pretty much every thing with no issues. they are all good with the online stuff but one is particularly good around spotting dodgy activity. they swear by it. i dont, i prefer a lil bit of craic with whoever is behind the counter when spending my dosh. (i'm getting old and dont know how to use a phone)
i also ordered one of these a while back (impulse buy)- it took a few weeks to arrive but as the OP noted, it's decent quality of the price. the question is - what's it for? i ride with a top box, so it's a bit redundant for me. into the "extras" bin for me.
I have bought loads of stuff from AliExpress over the years (including the £2.50 ‘Ducati’ flag in my profile pic) and never had an issue. The only time stuff arrived damaged I was refunded the same day. I find it truly scary there is stuff like wheel nuts and brake discs on there but for non structural/ safety/ mechanical bits and pieces like this bag the quality has always been ok.
It arrived today I removed the top box plate and used the velcro straps to attach the bag to the rear rack then refitted the top box rack - no problem. As it's not secure I've decided not to use it for tools or a tyre pump. I put in 4 extra CO₂ cartridges (the OEM puncture repair kit under the seat only has 3 cartridges which I've learned from experience isn't usually enough) plus a microfibre cloth for wiping down a wet seat, mirrors etc.
