Chloe Haines Jailed For Trying To Open Stansted Plane Door Mid-flight

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by PerryL, Feb 12, 2020.

  1. Just found this while doing some work:

CS25.783 "Fuselage Doors" [EASA Design Requirements for Large Transport Aircraft]

    (2) Each door that could be a hazard if it unlatches must be designed so that unlatching during pressurised and unpressurised flight from the fully closed, latched, and locked condition is extremely improbable. This must be shown by safety analysis.

    (b) Opening by persons. There must be a means to safeguard each door against opening during flight due to inadvertent action by persons. In addition, for each door that could be a hazard, design precautions must be taken to minimise the possibility for a person to open the door intentionally during flight.

  2. Hmmmm EASA? Sounds suspiciously like some sort of EU agency, and as we know, everything to do with the EU is a liberal, metropolitan, one world government elite new world order conspiracy against ordinary hard working pEePuLL. I say we should throw off the shackles of their bureaucratic regulatory tyranny, take back control and fit normal doors, fashioned by hand from stout English oaks.

  6. Well I hope the Eu didn’t base its rules on US ones. We know just how bad they are!

  7. Goat dammit, Americans invented flying.

Then they taught it to birds and bats and insects and stuff.

    DO SOME RESEARCH DUDE
